All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Postings to the For Sale and Wanted sections will be deleted 90 days after the initial posting date if there has been no activity to the thread in the last 7 days. This is done to eliminate dead posts from the forum.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I'm sure you've heard it all before. Gifted the bike with title. A broken bolt on the exhaust header turned into a full teardown to fix the leak on the bottom end. So far I have replace the gasket on the bottom end honed the jugs slightly. Put the head back on top of the cylinder after it had been cleaned and machined by Kaylee machine shop here in South Bend. The tires are new. The seat looks to be original. The fuel tank doesn't have any dings and looks to be and really good shape. It has gas in it and has no leaks. I have 99% of the parts I need to put it back together. I just don't want to. Bike comes with a 1979 Suzuki GS1000L which I have taken parts off of used and parted out. I'd give away everything if I could but if someone would make me a nice offer...? it's on a trailer here in South Bend, Indiana. I have all the original exhaust and VH aftermarket exhaust. I think it's worth around $2,000. If someone would like to change my mind I'm open to suggestions. And thank you for looking.

Tried to upload many photos all of which were over spec of two megabytes

Sad to see those bikes in that condition. Left out in the elements without protection. Sad to say, you have two parts bikes there. $500 total, maybe.

Welcome to the forum, even if, as I'm reading it, you're not inclined to sick around. There are a bunch of members in Indiana that may be interested in giving you something for the collection of parts. You might get close to $2K if at least one of them was a runner.

Yep you guys are precisely the attitude that drove me away from this site the first time I was here so yeah I'll just withdraw my s*** later on I feel like it You're right I'm not going to stick around

Sorry you didn't hear what you were wanting to hear... That's how it goes sometimes.

They might have been under a tarp, but they were still exposed to a lot of humidity under it. Just look at the rust on the cam buckets.
Anyway, mind the door.
