A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Postings to the For Sale and Wanted sections will be deleted 90 days after the initial posting date if there has been no activity to the thread in the last 7 days. This is done to eliminate dead posts from the forum.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

1982 GS1100EZ Parts bike (complete)

D Icard

Forum Newbie
This is a complete motorcycle. It was put in the barn 10+ years ago due to illness. It was ridden the day it went into the barn and has not moved since that time. I am the original owner and have the title. The right person could probably make a "runner" out of it, but right now,it is a parts bike only. There are extras with the bike: original manual, Suzuki air fork pressure guage(\ (still in the box), Corbin saddle, XN85 short stalk directional signals, and pods. I have every thing that was taken off to make changes and they go with the bike. I'm not looking to get rich from selling this motorcycle, but just trying to keep it from going to the crusher..Let's make a deal where everybody is happy..

Welcome to the site.

I don't understand why you have repeatedly stressed that it is a parts bike if it was ridden the day it was parked. I think a photo might help me to understand. I'm guessing that photo is not your bike.

Again, welcome to the site.

Pics and a price would go a long way in knowing if I want to haul it home!

I would love to be able to post some pictures but at the moment it happens to be pretty well buried and filthy as the dickens From what I can see, I assume there will be issues and that's why I posted it as a parts bike. When I can get some help, I will dig it out I will and post some pictures. As far as the price goes, to be honest,.I have no idea. But rest asssred, any serious offer will be considered.

Block, thinking that don't look much like a "parts bike", Kind'f looks way more like a truck load of "bike parts". Did you ever get those parts all put back together?

I too would like to see it saved and wish I could be the one to do it but circumstances won't allow it. I posted it as a parts bike because I would rather that than over sell it and end up misleading somebody. I'd much rather take a loss than cheat someone..

Sorry that you think my post is "suspicious". Fact is I am 77 years old and due to that and some other issues, my riding days are over. My kids are not interested in taking on a restoration project so finding it a new home is on me. I also have a 2008 Bandit 1250S which will be going "down the road" next. I'm ready to deal...
