A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

1982 Honda CB900F $1500 Colorado

I just emailed him to find out the mileage and contact info. Looks good in the photo but I've seen that before.

Ask when the valves were last adjusted - if he can't tell you, plan on doing this if you buy the bike. Oh, and after you've found replacements for the missing mirrors and grab bars, hunt down a set of sportkit rearsets for it - the stock US and Canada footpeg position is horrible :|.

Now $1500

Could get that down to $1200, I think...

I think you might be right and for $1200 it'd pretty hard to resist. Not crazy about the styling but it might grow on me or trade someone for a liter Suzuki.
If it's still around on the weekend I might have a look.

That's a rippin' deal on that 900F. Seriously. I paid almost that for my 400F and that 900 is 10 times the bike. It even still has the stock exhaust. Those early 80's superbikes are the next big thing. Soon, you won't be able to touch even lesser quality ones for twice that amount. ;)

For the Honda lovers there are two 900f,s just around the corner from me. One with 25k other little more but both decent. $800 was what I was told

Looks like the one Trevor was talking about is gone. I guess $1500 was the magic number.

Fast Freddie was one of my heros. Having a silver 900F and a Kawi ELR next to my GS1000S would be sooo cool.

My silver 81 is still my favorite bike - if the house were to catch fire, it's the one I'd rescue first (after the wife and pets of course) :)

I'd like an ELR too (or a GPZ1100) to make up the set in this picture;

Two years ago i picked up a Blue/Silver 9F for free. Guy didn't even know what it was. Flipped it for 800. Running.

Welcome to the F world Trevor. Go to cb1100f.net for all things F. Good guys over there too. My F bikes handle SO SO good. I have a 9F tricked out to look like Freddies bike(sans zero loss, hydrolic clutch, and 50 hp)

I have had several of these bikes, both 1100f's and 900f's. The one I had with the Hondaline fairing (as pictured above) was the nicest one to ride. It was amazing how this fairing improved the ride. Made the bike a much smoother, quieter and comfortable ride.

These fairings have many parts, and are quite rare to find with all of them.

I have a Hondaline fairing stashed away. All it needs is the windshield and the glass covering for the headlight (which will be a b--ch to find). I picked it up with a beautiful complete set of 1100F gauges and a "6-pak" rack for a 900/1100F, all for 25 bux. Didn't need any of them but it was too good a deal to pass on.
