My bike: Link to the my marketplace listing is here: 1982 Suzuki GS805L
I have a few threads on the forum over the last couple of years about it. Basically I inherited the bike from my Dad, who rode it everyday to work for years until he had to have a hip replacement. I reluctantly took it to not upset the apple-cart with some intention of doing all the maintenance to update it. I've never wrenched before, sot here was that obstacle as well. I've found I don't want to ride anymore due to balance issues anyway, so I need to let it go to someone who can restore it properly and appreciate it. It ran before I parked it in the garage (I rode it in) three or so years ago. I drained the tank and fogged it, but that's about it besides putting a new battery in it to get it to my house, which subsequently got pulled and has been on a tender ever since. IT needs all the usual maintenance: tires, fluids, hoses, carbs cleaned and synched, valves adjusted, etc... The fuel gauge wire disintegrated when I removed the tank, but the gauge was working before. I did throw the battery in before listing it and it turned over just fine, but I didn't really want to put fuel back in it and deal with all of that again. No leaks anywhere except the front fork seals that I see. It would obviously need trailered to a new home. Would like to see it go to someone who can restore it properly as well.
I'm not sure if my asking price is appropriate though, but I don't think it's totally out of line.
