$1,500 for the whole thing (not firm), or send offers for individual parts. Bought it last year as a running project and did the work described below. The previous owner claimed to have rebuilt the motor, but I'm not so sure about that anymore. Had it running very well for a brief period before compression issues hit, and then life got too busy to continue. The only thing she's missing are side emblems, but those were missing when I bought her. Comes with a clean title. Recently, the starter button has lost functionality; however, it's been narrowed down to the solenoid wire due to a lack of continuity. She can still be jump-started with the old screwdriver-on-the-solenoid trick. She has 56,833 miles on the clock.
Compression values were as follows: 90, 75, 65, 55 (in psi).
- Restored rear rack from a GS750 (year unknown)
- Rebuilt carbs - chem-dipped and scrubbed
- New carb intake boots
- New petcock
- New plugs
- Valves inspected and adjusted
- SH775 Rectifier/Regulator
- Starter motor rebuilt
- Restored fuel gauge functionality
- Polished (some, biggest offender is still exhaust headers) chrome
- Rebuilt cam-chain tensioner
She comes as a full bike unless anyone really wants specific parts, in which case she'll just be parted out or sold without them. Located in Farmington, New Mexico, USA; available for pickup or will package and ship at buyer's expense. Can also take additional pictures upon request.
