2025 World Series - Dodgers and Blue Jays

For Canuckleheads ....... If you watch the game on Sportsnet Buck Martinez the Jays home announcer is doing the commentary ......

Yep that's where I watch....btw a good start...the Canadian flag isn't upside down :eagerness:

I went to bed LATE!

Woke up to see the result.

That game had so much it's crazy!

And people say baseball takes too long....Ha! :p

Just watching ESPN now to get the highlights. I'll watch the condensed version later.

Ohtani reach base 9 times. First time since 1900 a player did that.

He also has to pitch today's game. Hope he gets to sleep in.;)

For crying out loud ! One out in the 7th and they didn't walk Ohtani ? .... Oh well the good news is we're definitely getting into the Dodger bullpen today .....

For me the good news... "Great News", Freddy Freeman don't play for the Blue Jays.

Well he is Canadian....so there's that :)
And Ed, you call yourself a fan and couldn't stay up to watch? Lol....the Rodgers stadium in Toronto showed the game on the big screen and apparently there were still plenty there.....at 3AM!!! :eek-new:

OOhhh, didn't know he was Canadian... Glad he isn't on the GSR, he'd possibly have never came down here to play for us (U.S.). Still wishing good luck to the Blue Jays, just not hardly as good as to the Dodgers... Isn't 18 innings 2 games, shouldn't we be awarded 2 wins for last night (well this morning). We should be up 3 to 1.

The story was brought up in an interview with Freddie Freeman before the start of the series.

Both his parents were born in Canada but Freddie was born in Fountain Valley, CA. He does have dual citizenship.

Freddie's mother passed away when he was 10 years old--she had skin cancer.

He remembers as a boy his mother would remind him to stand up (Nat'l Anthem) at games like when the Expos came to town or when the Mighty Ducks played a Canadian Team.

He really is a nice guy with a great personality and a beautiful family.

Dodgers fans on Sunday......" DODGERS IN FIVE"!

Dodgers fans on Monday....."DODGERS IN FIVE"!!!!!

Dodgers on Tues........"dodgers in six"???

The Cubs averaged 35K per game in 2025...And that's in Wrigley Field....doesn't count the roof top seats.

Blue Jays played a great offense/defensive game last night.

The best Dodgers can do is head to Toronto with 3-2 lead on Friday.

I did say good luck to both teams, but didn't mean that much good luck for the Jays.... Good luck to both teams, but more to Dodgers and a little less to Jays.
