A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Been looking for a decent example somewhat close to me for awhile now. Saw this a few months ago but but there was paperwork issues with it. I told him if he got it sorted out I would buy it. Well we kept in contact and sure enough he was able to get the title for it so off I went to grab it yesterday.

The bike appears to have been very well cared for. With a little cleaning up in the spring it should shine. Will look good in my collection and I cant wait to ride it. Not really going to mod it or anything. Plan on keeping that same look. Only thing I may change is the seat. Maybe do the 1000 motor swap but idk yet.

For now she will just sit in my storage unit till the weather gets warmer and keep my RD350 company.

Cool - I have the same bike but in blue that I'm getting ready for this spring/summer, wish I had the red...
Don't forget to take the petcock off prime!

I actually wanted the turquoise color but this one was available and the price was more than alright.

Congratulations on a nice looking find. I sure hope the tank is empty as the petcock is in prime position. Going to empty it soon if there is any fuel in the tank.

Take an adjustable wrench and pinch it onto the rear signal brackets and tweek the signals back into linement. The chain guard is easilly replacable and IF you nt to repaint at some point PM me and I can have my "turqouise" paint scanned for you. I think its called Pearl Black Bluing actually.

Awesome. Thank you

Nice find !

Looks like original stock paint and seat.
Original paint in great condition. Rare find. That is the value of that bike.

THat grab bar that was mentioned is good for when putting on center stand. Are often removed if someone adds bags and/or a back rack, and then lost before those are removed.

If you find those aftermarket bars are kinda low and short, well, okay if you like them, okay.
If not, you might like the stock ones better.

If it is the turquoise and in as good of shape as mine I would be willing to swap.
Haha cool - I'll be in touch in the spring. There's some pictures of my 750 in this section a page or two back, the paints great. My general `get out of MA' route is to go due west on Rt. 2 through the Mohawk trail which puts me somewhat in your neck of the woods.

gs.jpgNice dude. Lotsa Luck. I just got the same bike in blue. Mine looks like hell though. Wish it was this clean.

is that pipe supported in rear
pic makes pipe look like it is sagging in rear
hopefully supported by more than just header flanges
