All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I suppose it's time I post my build on here this is my first build and any help would be appreciated! I'm going for something like this:Attach3239_20171128_171455.jpg

Got a few questions tho...I LOVE those handlebars but I can't find them anywhere...I really don't know what to look for and my seat situation I really want to get my hands dirty and do some wielding but I have no money for a wielder I'm gonna use once and nobody rents them...any thoughts or help on these subjects? Thanks!

Looks like either a straight drag style or a low superbike style handlebar. Can't offer much help on the welder unless you have a buddy who has one or can make a new buddy that has one

Which one Nessism the black one or the black and red flames one?

You will find the 550 will be to small on the tunnel.
Strate bolt on tanks are gs750/850 (2v) or the gsx (GS 4v) 750/1100

The red an black(scallops, not flames) need the inside derusted and lined. It is cheaper, but will cost more in the long run than the black one.

Got another problem... surprise surprise...I saw these cool speedo/tach kit on dime city cycles great price but it says it for Honda 750s and other large cc motors so I sent a email to them to confirm like they ask...they tell me they can't be sure cuz of Suzuki being such a oddball manufacturer with there specs...so any help with this would be cool...will they work is it worth a try buying them?

On rusty tanks use Metal Rescue. Its magic! Doesn't harm paint and will not flash rust. Unless you have holes in tank no liner needed.

A comparison video of Evaporust, Metal Rescue, vinegar and Coke. Evaporust seemed to be the winner.
Another one between the top three chemical rust removers.
