A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Postings to the For Sale and Wanted sections will be deleted 90 days after the initial posting date if there has been no activity to the thread in the last 7 days. This is done to eliminate dead posts from the forum.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Great running bike. 44K well maintained miles.
4 into one Vance+Hines exhaust plus stock. Stage 1 jets with k+n filter that replaces stock in box. I finally got a Rick's stator paired with a heavy duty RR made for a Harley that cured electrical problems. Recent starter and street racer clutch. I have the original exhaust in great shape. The original handelbars and mirrors and air filter. Misc parts. A Memphis Shades tall windshield with a small crack from bumping the wall while backing it into the Garage. Never dumped, but I did kill a small bear with it and my wifes leg, (long story),necessitating the replacement of the cam cover. Repainted blue/green because I hated the retro 80s paint. Lower bars. Had king/queen seat redone to flat seat. Rear rack and low sissy bar with T-Bag. I'll throw in soft saddle bags. I bought it from the second owner, the first apparently never rode it. It had 4K miles on it then, I've had it for over 25 years. always garaged. The only thing that doesn't work is the trip meter. The odometer, speedometer, and tach all work. It's the original 85mph speedo, so it's kinda amazing the the needle hasn't flown off once or twice.
I'll include a Suzuki shop manual that I reprinted from a download plus a Clymer repair manual. For some reason, this forum wouldn't download my photos, but I'll be happy to email them. I'm also about to post on Facebook marketplace. I'm mellowing out with old age going to a 650 Vstrom.

I'm usually a few fries short of a happy meal, but I don't understand the poll. Yes or No on what?

Would you buy it? Would you ride it?

Looks like a For Sale ad that is in the wrong place to me. If it is, a price would help.

Oh well, off to Mickey D's for more fries!:p

All understandable, It's his first post...Not sure about the poll, but I'm voting "yes" just cause I like being positive.
