I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Does anyone know the Suzuki part numbers for the case eye seal and kick starter shaft seal. These seals aren't listed on the Alpha site. It seems that they have been missed by Suzuki as they don't appear on the '79 GS750 fiches either.
Thanks

Seals are there at Alpha-Sports.

Kickstart fishe has the seal Part 16 09283-20031 OIL SEAL C,EC,N,EN

Clutch Release fishe has the other seals

Thanks for the help guys.

Ed, I found the kick starter seal after your direction. Didn't notice it last night. The release rack pinion top seal looks to be #26, 09285-12006 (superseded number) but not sure about the case eye seal. There is a seal shown #24, 09285-1003 which is listed as (seal, cl rel). This could be wrongly described or an internal seal at the bottom of the pinion shaft. Haven't got mine open yet to know one way or the other.

What are your thoughts on this?

I don't know what that #24 is but I don't think it's part of the clutch release mechanism. Maybe it's an aux. seal of some sort on the clutch cover? Wouldn't hurt to order it since it's only a few bucks.

Yeah, I'll do that. Cheers Ed.

i'm a bit "suspicious" of that seal #24, don't remember seeing anything like it and i've been inside my clutch a few times

It was probably 3 years ago that I was last in there too. I don't recall an extra seal either.
