I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

I guess it happen last night from what our TV station's are saying. Lewis was on his bike and was racing a car and had a bad crash on city streets. They showed a helmet and his bike laying on the ground and he was transfer to Lubbock do to head injuries and is in critical condition.

I just raced him a few weeks ago at the track and I was runner up. My engine is still apart and I was looking forward to racing him again soon.

If your're going to do it then do it at the track.

Street racing is a very big problem here in San Diego as well. We have a program called Racelegal.com that has 1/8th mile races at Qualcomm stadium. (I used to be the motorcycle tech inspector there, before there was a change in management). They only give trophys and if you are over 31, you have to pay more and cannot compete for the trophies. It does seem to get most of the street racers off the streets, but we still have the few hardcore streetracers. The local laws have been changed to impound anyone vehicle in a street race and that has helped as well.

I'll pray for Lewis and trust God for his outcome, whatever it may be.

It's bad enough just driving around this city with all the idiots that don't signal, run lights and stop signs. They think they own the road. If someone does'nt cut me off or pull in front of me daily then I must be dreaming. And as for dragging on the streets around here, that's like smoking while taking a bath in gasoline. The two just don't go together.

Not to mention the mindless drivers using cell phones. I ride to work almost daily and have to be very defensive. Not one day goes by that I am almost hit. I thank God daily for his protection.

Be careful out there!

Hope he makes a full recovery BUT street racing is a big NO! NO!
Every big city has problems with street racing Fontana Speedway has a race legal program too!
The best program was when Big Willie had the Terminal Island track in San Pedro Ca Friday/Sat nights till 12-1 all day sunday EVERY weekend not just once a month street legal.
The defunk Streel legal at the Pomona Raceway was good but too crouded Check in for tech 8am racing from 10 until 5pm big days there would be 3-500 cars Not worth going spending ALL day to make 2-3 runs

I'm going tonight but I'll be on my Sportster, The old gal is still awaiting gaskets. Hope to find out how's he doing and another racer that is down.

The best run for the Sportster was 8.78 at 77.92 mph. It felt a little odd being use to the GS cracking out 6's. I think the Sportster needs a gearing change. As for Lewis somebody said they had to remove his leg because of some type of infection and may still lose one eye. The way they are talking the only good news he is still alive. And for my fellow racer Paul the status is just a broken shouder and a few ribs. His story is he run in the 5.20's in the 1/8 but was running 1/4 when at the end of the run a gust of wind pushed him to the left side of the track, he corrected by leaning to the right alot when the exhaust pipe dug into the pavement spinning the bike. I guess he was doing over 150 mph cause the bike broke into 2 pieces. He was really lucky.
Did I say it can get windy around here in West Texas

That wind starts down here in the Rio Grande Valley as it comes out of Mexico. In a few more weeks when it finally quits blowing we'll wish it was windy again.

I seem to remember one of the ProStock? mc riders has two
prosthetic legs

Did you see the highlite of a lady racers having a problem and falls off the bike. She sliding down the track and her bike hits the wall and keeps on going without her.

Is it still a legal run if she or her bike doesn't cross the center line :?:

That would depend on weather she crossed the finish line before it happened?? Hitting the wall is automatic disqualification during the run After the finish line doesn't matter
