Has anyone used Accel brand ignition coils? I see they have two different 4 cylinder motorcycle models, both advertising for use with points or CDI ignition. One is 3 ohms, the other is .7 ohms. What applications would you use a .7 ohm coil, and does it make much of a difference? I know that Dyna makes the green 3 ohm coils because that's what the oem Japanese manufacturers originally spec'd for their oem coils. What is it that makes the 3 ohm resistance critical? I assume using a Dyna S ignition, one would want to stick with 3 ohm.

Is 3ohm the resistance that the points& condenser need to see to trigger the coils properly?
There's an accel 140404 kit on ebay for $80, but .7 ohms, probably not compatible???
