Andrews Coil Boot ?

I have this set of Andrews Coils and in order to complete them I am looking for replacement coil boots that will slip over the coil terminals and cover the the spark plug wire connections. The boots are actually pretty large so most automotive applications won't work. The pen is pointing to the 4 parts I am trying to scrounge up.

I am sure someone knows were to purchase a set, you always do! I am certainly open to used as well.

Thanks in advance.

Correction: The pen points to the location of the missing rubber boots. I have all the terminal ends . . . .

Did those accel wire come with boots? Accel boots are pretty good fit on Dynas which is about the same on Andrews coils.

Just take 1 of the coils with you to a NAPA auto parts store & have one of the guys there help you. They will be able to come up with something you can use. Ray.

gday mate, have ran these coils, for years, they are tops, they throw a good, big spark, contact accel leads, or chase up the parts stores, for the boots, you should,nt have to much trouble, regards.

Those accel wires are their universal 8.8 car application, so unfortunately the boots were too small & essentially worthless.

gday mate, i use leads that have shorter fittings than those shown, maybe a differant lead will work ? ,regards,

That's probably the easiest fix. A set of short straight ones would help. I know you're trying to take some stress off the wires with the angled terminals though. Have you checked Summit Racing or JC Whitney?

I checked with the guys at the local NAPA and they don't have anything on hand or in their catalog that might work

How about just using several layers of heat shrinkable insulation over them.

How about buying a set of the Dyna wires from Z1 for $16.... that would solve it ;)

Re: Z-1

I guess I will try them next or perhaps first next time around. $16 is no too bad just about 4 gallons.

I was searching on line for coil boots & terminals earlier and it seems the 45 degree coil boot has been discontinued by most spark plug wire manufacturers.
