I've just spent 2 days starting to remove a fuel tank liner on one of my 1000s and at the same time I've been fighting aftermarket junk needle and seats and a decent fuel cock for my other 1000 (good grief). Out of my 6 spare petcocks none of them shutoff correctly. I save original stuff for the quality and have one K & L kit and it doesn't do the deed either. I would order a Mikuni diaphraghm if I could but apparently that's a no, go. Someone must have solved this with an aftermarket diaphraghm of some sort? Thanks in advance for any insight. I think a few of my diaphraghms may work with a new O-ring however the factory O-rings seem to have a profile to them other than just being a round O-ring.
