Any good fillers other than Bondo?

I'm getting ready to go wild on my paint and needing to fill a dent the size of a dime and the holes where the side cover emblems are mounted. This leaves me with needing less than a teaspoon full of Bondo and I was wondering if there's something else that would do a good enough job, I live with quite literally everything I own strapped to the bike and a quart of Bondo would be a waste.

Two part epoxy comes to mind just not sure if that'll stick long term or react with the primer or paint. I'm going to spray it in white, do my artwork with sharpies and cover it in clear. Anyone have any ideas?

For a small amount like that, a purchase of Abro Steel or JBWeld would be adequate and it's always handy to have around for other eventualities.
On a clean, prepared surface, either will stick like dog poop to a picnic blanket and take paint perfectly.

JB Weld sounds good to me, they have a larger selection types now as well.
Not sure Sharpe ink can stand up to UV. Only an iron or carbon based pigment will.

Good point on the pigment. I've seen Sharpie used on cars but it was never cleared over so it wore off rather quickly. The stuff I'm going to do is geometric and I've considered using pinstripe tape or brush painting it but I'm quite sure of my ability with ink.

Stop off a local body shop, tell them your dilemma and see if you can mooch a small amount of filler. Pick a small tube of creme hardener from the auto parts.

ABS slurry to fill the emblem holes.

Use a paint marker for your graphics. They come in a crap load of colors. Have a rag, or paper towel in hand to dab the tip in to control how wet the tip is.

Excellent suggestion! That would certainly give me better choices for color as well. This is one of the pieces I'm going to incorporate which was inspired by the cover of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, I'll be doing a variation of this one on the tank.

I'm reminded of a how a track bike was decorated.
Because of the high risk of scuffing up body panels, people take off the nice parts, buy a salvaged set and decorate it anyway they like.
This guy covered the body panels with tiny ink drawings made on note size paper, glued hundreds of those on, then clear coat over all: = Collage.
I've seen it done on helmets too.
I like the results I've seen.
Drawings directly on the body and clear coated gives a smooth texture, but it's the personal expressions that matter.

I've seen that done, works out pretty well. The guy who took me under his wing in his garage in '81 had a picture of Betty Boop on his tank that was cut out of a coloring book.
