    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

All your Moab photos are wonderful, but they're only playing card sized.
You really need to work on your online skills.

Name calling? Bill paid you a complement by calling your pictures "Playing Card" size. Postage stamp is more like. As I remember you use some sort of portable device and I have no advice as to how you can post larger pictures. As interesting as you photos are, they are almost non existent. I posted pictures like yours for about a year(but larger) till I figured out how to do it right. There are a ways to do it right, but using your small pic isn't one of them......

yea somebody needs to let the small picture thing go. Its really pompus. Some of us are bike people with limited computer skills and we are just fine with that. Your small picture is fine. My finger was not stressed in the least to click on it.

No problem here, just chill and give me a year to figure techno weenie skill. I rather be riding or wrenching.Hopefully by the time i get to 5000 posts like you charlie i figure it out or maybe by then you will be so old and wearing magnifying glasses the pics will look larger.

Winter will get here eventually but until then it's great riding weather. I finally had a chance to explore the volcanoes just west of town.

A friend said his dad's senior prank was taking tires to these volcanoes and liting them on fire. It must have been a sight to see smoke from these dormant cinder cones.

Not much to see to the west except a tiny airport and the parking area down below.

To the east though, towards Albuquerque, the Rio Grande valley looks beautiful from here. The valley is sinking and the mountains rising up from the rift lines on both sides. No wonder I can't scale those mountains like I used to!

I tried to ride to the top of the Sandias today but there were patches of ice on the road. Maybe next time!

Think I'll give those heated grips a try. That will sure beat grabbing the engine head for a little heat.

Awww man, I know about the views in NM. Thanks for posting beautiful pics!

Real nice! Seems like you could leave your bike there for half an hour? Not much traffic.
