A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Nice day here...My finger is still in a brace but I couldn't take it anymore...I last rode on January 1st off road....but street has been back to November....I better start putting miles on if I plane to match last year's 35,000kms (23,000 miles)....
Put a new MRA windscreen on the K1300R

I just installed one on my Touring'Busa... been experimenting with the stock screen vs. a Puig double-bubble and now the air-foiled MRA... stock put the wind into my chest, Puig straight at my helmet and the MRA seems to throw it over my head. That's a win. I've always been a proponent of double-bubbles but now not so much. MRA adds some wind noise at speed but worth it for the protection... and it was cheap being a hand-me-down from one of my local 'Busa-Bros.

This afternoon:

Givi top box and rack was a freebie from another local 'Busa-Bro... Bros for the win! :encouragement:

It’s the middle of February, in Pennsylvania. 70 + degrees this afternoon when I left work (a tad early…:-\\\shhhhh.) Had to get out for a ride. It was only for an hour. No pics, but the big stupid grin on my face would have made for a good one. May take the bike out again for some errands this evening. Can’t waste this weather. Be safe out there, all.

I did...First ride of the season. Over 70? today and partly sunny...

Just got the new battery yesterday, and plates expire next week. Needed to take her out and confirm everything is in working order, since I am planning on selling this one in Mar/Apr....

Great bike, but my wife quit riding several years ago, and I don't need a two up, traveling bike anymore. What I need is space in my garage.

But hey, it was a very nice ride....Only a couple lousy photos, as I only stopped once.;)

Nice Bob.

So you'll still have the 600.

Decided how to advertise the 900?

(Winter storm here.)

Yes, I still have and will keep the TT600, GS1100E, and the '67 Honda Cub.
Still working out how to advertise, and price, this bike.
A local friend has had good luck with cycletrader, but I don't know. Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and Nextdoor, are all options?

We actually got a couple of inches of snow last night but it was mostly gone in my area by noon today. Found one road (Land's End, for you locals :encouragement: ) that was somewhat slippery with nice snow ridges down the centre of the lanes but I survived... road hugging weight FTW!

The roads finally thawed enough to test out my '78 7/10 build! jetting is pretty close and the pipe and pods are performing better than I could have hoped for.

HG, probably good to get out on the road after that work.

hopefully road better condition than driveway (usally is , for me anyway).

but still not any too warm, especially for open face helmet……

haha thankfully the roads were much better than the driveway

Felt so good to finally let this thing rip! it's my first time riding it since I bought it last May and my first time riding a 1L!

I had a full face but gave it to my dad. I foolishly thought I would have bought a replacement by the time riding season started lol

First ride on the GS this year....A little chilly first thing, but mid 60s by the time I got home.

It's Dogwood season around here....

Thruxton RS?
I'll live vicariously through your purchase.

Not buying, just drooling. It is a pretty thing but Triumph has had serious problems with the gearboxes in the water-cooled modern classic line (just ask Jedz) so I wouldn't buy one. I did like the looks of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 though... and the reviews on that bike have been really good.
