DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Foggy this a.m. out on 60 mile test ride. No leaks I can see anywhere! :D
Now is where I have to bring in a carb guru, and have it tickled just right.

The Mrs. and I recently went for a ride in the Sacramento Delta area for her maiden voyage on her new (to her) liter bike. This photo was snapped at our lunch stop at Wimpey's, a popular local burger joint. Judging by the look on her face, she was ready to take a break! Paul

I love touring on my Katana. Yours looks great loaded up out on the road.

Thanks mate. Planning another last minute get away this coming weekend, will post up the evidence if we actually go....

Great picture of scenery and bike, and great pictures of road and bike.

That 10 thousand? (not 70)
... and looks like you documented the place it happened, too.
... and a nice place it was.
... and nice photo with view ahead and view behind in mirror

Yep, 10,000 rolled around on this trip and many more to come if I get my way. This bike is just a pleasure to ride, only problem is keeping it even close to the speed limit especially on roads like these where the limit can be a criminal 45mph! Coppers don't have any sense of humour around here either :(

Took out the ZX for some canyon fun....Only cause the GS is in storage of course....

I took the ES out for a good run. That elec tach is NOT accurate. My motor spins up faster that it reads & I have to shift by ear & "feel". Bike runs strong & smooth.

Today I will ride the 1123 "super" F.

PERFECT weather in Michigan right now!:D

I DID ride the F yesterday. Well, sorry my GS brothers, but My 1100F is just so much better all around than the E or ES(which I adore) I can see why it was the "big" seller(cb1100 f= $3698.00, GS1100ES = $4350.00) $650.00 doesn't seen like much BUT it is a HEAVY %.

All are GREAT bikes. The CB has much better brakes(ss lines on both)& maybe the OHLINS make a dif on the Honda too.

They sho looks pretty sittin' side by side!!!!!

SCOOTER "hot" laps.

SCOOTER "hot" laps.

Wellll...Due to poor planning, my insurance on the cycle lapsed for the first time in 20+ years:( . Renewed it by phone, and im awaiting a new id card. Today, we recieved our neighbors mail, and they did not recieve ours:eek: my card is being held hostage by the USPS:eek::eek:
I did do some scooter laps around the neighborhood to my great enjoyment, the last with the baffle removed. Childish prehaps, but that 70 cc ring dinger cackle was fun to hear...Besides i passed 5 parties, so no silence was disturbed:D

We headed down to the Laverda Concours show today, perfect weather for it (although I'm quite sunburnt).

Had a nice ride over Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo, then met the rest at Rocklea and we all headed down to the show.

4 Katanas, a Trumpy, a GSXR 750, and my 450 made the trip, and there were a couple of other guys we met up with down at the show.

Will come back and post a link shortly once I've posted the ride report thread...

Earl (ZX14) and I decide to do a Patrol around the Vector, north & west of Cochrane (Horse Creek Rd to Grand Valley Rd).
Here Earl does the motorcycle equivalent of a Squeegie Kid ,,.. "Clean your Visor Sir?"

We make good time, so decide to ride the old 1A HWY to Canmore.

BrownCOunty, Bedford, Ohio River, MotoGP

Last week my son and I and DIL rode to Bedford IN on 1st day (stayed at Jays Rosemount. He was as accommodating as always. Had towels on our bikes in the morning).
Took a full day trip out to the east and then south to Ohio RIver, across into Kentucky, and then back across and further west, and then back to Bedford.
An other day was around Bedford area to Medora, then to Nashville and then plans changed due to mechanical problems (but that is a different story. And, no it wasn't my 30 year old bike that had the problem.)
