A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

It seemed warm this morning.

No snow yet, the rain held off for my lunch hour (or two) ride on the "bagger" and temps in the 50's. More NH scenery....

A roadside relic....maybe someday my GS1000G will be rotting by the roadside after I'm gone

A nice overlook....I got tired of stopping for pics after this.

Yesterday was last ride of the year, 15C and sunny.
Today was cloudy, a bit of wet snow and 1C. Yuck.

Along the Welland Ship Canal. One of the bigger lakers at 730 ft.

Snow today. Starting to explore on dirt more expecially since the new Dual puprose tire in the back is on the Fizzy. Srongly considering a dual purpose bike now.... Next Tuesday the matching front goes on but I had to custom order a tube for the front rim. I have quite a few class 4 and dirt roads all around me in Adison County.
100 miles today then the snow got pretty desne and I high tailed it back home.
Heated gear and knoby tires FTW!

Went for a ride back in October and came across this
image.jpg Built in 1826 and was last working in 1926, now just left as a place of interest, only 8 miles from home

on Saturday, I took a day trip to Vancouver, got lost and went to Richmond.
only bad thing is my new month old clutch cable snapped at the handlebar coming back.

If you ended up in Richmond, did you manage to self-extract and get back on track?

Saturday was a much better day for a ride than Sunday morning. I spent it (Saturday morning) heading across to Point Roberts to pick up the new Hagon shocks. This post deserves a picture, but I'm one of the few who doesn't even own a cell phone, let alone one with a selfie button ;)

yep, I tried to get to the ferries on Kingsway.
i made a quick decision to take the wrong turn on the highway.
i made the 7 pm ferry to Vic, but then the clutch cable snapped on the highway and I had to ride
the rest of the way without the cable.

Had a nice run on Saturday with the KA boys, four Kats showed up which is not unusual for us...

Took advantage of the unseasonably mild temps yesterday and went for a nice ride around the Kingsport, TN area.
Here's a picture I took at the Fort Patrick Henry dam overlook.

That GS450E of yours is still chugging along I see....here's my old one up for sale. Maybe I should go buy it back for the $650 I sold it for with new tires and low miles back a few seasons ago? A few more miles on it and tires but still a good deal. It was a fun bike but I would change the stock seat some to be more comfortable but then it wouldn't be original anymore.

Yup the 450's still going strong, she's a good old girl! I've been riding without touching the rear brake since I got the new rear tyre on last Tuesday as the shoes were pretty dead. Put new ones in last night so the twisties on Saturday should be a little better now that I'll be able to trail brake again :D

I won't be selling the 450 any time soon... and when I get my Kat (one day) the 450 will still be the daily rider...

Was invited to Stahlgrau333s place for Gobble Till You Wobble and we got the bikes out for a little holiday jaunt. I was on the 75 Goldwing and he was on his girls little 83 Honda CM 250C. He had it pegged and that little bike tops out at 66 MPH. Was a little chilly but we had fun.

Gonna be at 70 degrees Sunday afternoon so we are planning on another ride this weekend Take the days when you can find them this time of year!!!

4 x about 15 mile rides to keep the fleet in working order turned out more than a days work
and it rained ! i must be the luckiest guy around....first time in months i get bikes out and we get a thunder storm
while im out ridding -.-
