I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Charmayne and I got out after the Memorial Day wreath ceremony and parade (her high school band performs at both) for a few miles this afternoon as her first extensive ride after the accident. We had a lot of fun and stopped for some Dairy Queen on the way home; she didn't want me to stop to take her picture but was still a good sport about it.

Once we got home I let her slide up into the front seat. She was able to pick the bike up with some effort and balance it on her tip toes. However, she doesn't have enough feet on the ground to walk it without power so we'll wait until her L is fully operational to start any clutch work.

wow, the corn is really high down there mr. cowboyup. i just saw the first sprouts around here yesterday. the corn grows fast and is gone, much like prime motorcycle season i guess.

I took the 1000e for it's first long ride yesterday. I rode about 350 miles half was southeast Ohio twisties, (Rt26) the other half was Rt77 highway. After spending most of the spring fixing the previous owners numerous mechanical follys, it was nice to finally get it out on the road.👍

That's a beautiful bike you have there Storm....nice job!

Thanks for the compliment Trevor. You too have a nice collection of motorcycles👍

I am proud to report that after 362 days of owning my GS750B, I finally went for a ride yesterday. I had a permanent, ear-to-ear grin on my face and can't wait to get some miles under my belt this summer. Thanks to all the folks here who helped me out. While she still isn't perfect, she moves under her own power and did not let me down. I still need to buy some real riding gear, tackle the R/R and stator, and get new tires and chain. I plan to do a full write up of my year of repairs and maintenance in the coming days.

Many thanks!!!

Went for a qick spin on my GS1000L

Too bad that you could not have moved that utility pole and wires over to the other side of road to get them out of your frame of view.

Great photo.
Thanks for posting.
Tell us more of your adventure.

Here, let me help you with that utility pole.

Mt Washington Auto road today. The XJ900 ran like a champ. It was a little sketchy as there is a mile long gravel section that they were resurfacing making for very loose stuff and a 20 minute wait going up and coming down the steep sloped road. With the strong winds and steep embankment made for some thrilling moments on the narrow 8 mile road up. Not too often you get clear days up there even if it was 30 degrees colder on top.

after a swimming hole to submerge in the cold river just like when I was young...and a discreet change into swim trunks on roadside:

Did a 60 mile loop tonight, to scrub in new tires, Dunlop 591 up front, Pirelli Sport Demon out back.
First right turn was the only moment where it felt a little squirmy, otherwise felt pretty planted.
Lame no pictures.

I have ridden up Mt Washington twice in the summer and hiked up once in the winter. Got lucky both days I rode and had good weather. But I didn't ride a motorcycle-I rode my bicycle.

Rob and I got out for a spin around the island today...then a little lunch at 17 mile pub. Great weather!
