A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Well, not today, but last week. Couldn't get around to upload a picture until now.

After a hefty Friday evening with lots of booze and friends, didn't bother with preparing a breakfast – hopped on the bike instead, bought some snacks, drove up a hill and nibbled away in the sun.

Looks nice! Where are the mountains?

From this POV, they would be on the left-hand side of the picture. Location is northern country, looking south-east. First ridges about 50km beeline out. Weather on this day was (and unfortunately still is) quite weird; a lot of sunny "pockets" interspersed with huge rainy/foggy/hazy areas, that's why one can't see them on this pic.

Redman: You seem to live in a nice corner of the country, keep the pictures coming :)

Jedz123: Your L looks very nice.

After we finished the morning ride to the Overlook restaurant during the rally on Friday, I managed to snap this picture of Charmayne in front of the bikes. I had no clue what I actually saw though until I got inside and started reviewing the phone. She sure was hungry that day:

Where do you find those miniature edible helmets at? LOL

Oooh, we should totally create GSR gummy helmets (not bears)!

Mount Washington Auto Road summit today. The fiance and I rode out early to do this while it was still cooler outside. Then we went to Laconia for bike week. Heading down again Saturday.

Hmmm... could probably do something with cupcakes or muffins.

The eighties and skinny tyres rule... nothing quite like a bunch of GS(X)'s ready to roll...

500 miles so far for the weekend... Got back to Vermont from the NE GSR meet in Louden, had to go for a blast to cool down from the hot day!

Got out last night. It was the first time I've ridden without a fairing since selling my E in '99.
A bit breezy, but ironically quieter without the wind aimed at my head. No big deal as I was on backroads, late, only doing 40 - 50 riding in high deer alert mode for good reason. A group of 3 and later a single crossed in front of me. Still I caught a chill only wearing a t shirt and shorts under my riding gear.

It was great not to hear all the rattling when hitting bumps- the broken fairing mount just repaired was a big part of the rattling, but even before that it was still noisy. While the fairing is off I plan to go thru all of the mounting hardware and de rattle it.

She looks a bit odd from this angle.

Just use imgur. It generates the proper BBCode for you, which you can then simply paste in the text field.

Or Photobucket.

45 miles this morning with Cheyenne on this Father's Day on roads I haven't been on in two years then home to build the outdoor table and chairs for the wife.

Good fun, and good time with the kids.

I was just there yesterday, checking the carb work on my 850. It turns out I need a 100 mile ride and some pizza to think about it and form an opinion. The crosswind surging was an easy fix with the pocket knife, but something else is going on. I think maybe the choke linkage on #3 is making trouble. The PO munged it.
