A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Did a 100 mile loop, bike was running ok, not shifting very well, temps dropped down into the mid 60's which was nice for riding.

After almost 2000 miles on the KLR650, I switched it up with something different today...a K75. Certainly not as nimble on the dirt, but on paved back roads and highway a little more plush.

I went for a 500km ride the other day with my buddy on his tricked out 1975 Z1, it has 1015 pistons with 29mm smoothbores, 06 ZX6 usd forks and a ZRX swingarm.

Eddie 21, LOVE that pic of your friends and your bikes.
Wyly, glad to see the ES out and about. I dig the red / black paint scheme.

Went for a quick ride today to pick up supplies for the house project, and dinner (wine), and of course took the long-ish way home.
While walking away my bike in the Home Depot parking lot, a guy called from a car asking if I was on the GSR. Turns out it was a fellow member, Gordinho80. He recognized my bike. Had a nice chat with him. It was cool to finally meet a fellow member.

Good times! Congrats.

Not much time to write about my whole trip, so here's the reader's digest version. After my 1st trip to Colorado, I vowed to go back. From Mn, we went to Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah and Arizona. It was like a highlight ride of the southwest. Lots of National Parks and indescribably cool roads. 3952 miles and not one thought of work.

Those are some sticky tires, to be able to hold, on at a 90 degree angle sitting still! :D

Me ole 1977 Fuji Sports 10, been getting my C/V system and legs back in shape this month.
I rode my GS1100G also, and stopped next to a guy on a V twin, said "Nice bike!" to me. Like, wow.

Forty miles on my bike around town today plus a few on Charmayne's when I rode it to the parking lot with her. She spent a little time on hers as well but needs to work on her clutch and throttle control as she kept stalling it out. We are going to go at it again on Wednesday after school (marching band tomorrow).

Rode this morning to the Rosendale cement kilns. The cement from here was used in the building of the Brooklyn Bridge and the base for the Statue of Liberty.

Had a 150 mile ride today.
Avoided the scattered thundershowers mostly.
Did get caught twice.
Did not stop for pics much.

Muskegon.

When putting on rain gear, both rain over-boots ripped. (probably over 10 years old).
Was raining pretty hard on one accasion and was getting water leaking in around my ankles. But it wasnt cold enough to be a problem.

One place I wanted to go involved about 3/4th mile on gravel road that must have had a lot of clay, was a bit slippery.

Bike has lots of road grime. The slop from the gravel road did get mostly washed off.

.

Took a ride out around midnight when I finished up working on the house.
Nothing picture worthy. Followed a group of 5 or 6 guys that merged onto the highway riding multi brand cruisers for a bit before passing them. Warm and humid like mid summer:cool:
Bike is running quite well.
