DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Well have not been a motorcycle in two weeks! We have been under a deep freeze here....Today was a pretty good day but I had to drive my truck to work...got home...put in a new headlight bulb....put the fairing on yet again....man that gets old quick....lol
Wasn't much of a ride but a ride none the less...

Got home and even my dog bowed down to the mighty Cooley!!! :p

You're going to have to put that bike on a diet. Look at the mighty crack it put on the cement when you put it on the sidestand!;)

Took my poor neglected 750 out for a spin after work today....was able to ride my BMW to work today for the first time in a while....
I have put 60 miles on my 750 since Sept 1st....yikes.

Finally some twisted throttle therapy!!!!
Felt good to just go for a nice blast after work... Tires do pretty good in the snow!

Merry Christmas too all!!!

Merry Christmas Riding!

Merry Christmas Riding!

Some great pics fellow GS Riders!

Merry Christmas to you too Jedz. White Christmas!!!:cool::cool:

Ed

EDIT: You got some 5.56mm rounds in there?

Jedz, your pictures have me contemplating getting a TU250X as well. Also nice tweaks

Only thing that bugs me is that the chainguard curve doesn't match your rear sprocket ;)

highly jealous of those in tropical locals who are still riding!
7c today a huge improvement from the -24 -30 of the last couple weeks... the main roads are free of ice but the road from my drive to the main road is still iced over...

It got up to 63 here today...certainly no snow for us this Christmas! These new soft saddle bags leave a little to be desired...lol

Highly recommend it! It's a phenomenal little bike! Lots of custom work...

The chain guard and sprocket might look different because I shortened the chain to bring the rear tire closer to center so it's better for wheelies and handling ;)

Some footage of my spin...

A spin literally.....it's a light bike and you have off road tires but be careful on those roads, my friend. At least wear some better riding pants than those "go to church" pants in the video!

Those are Dickies double kneed work pants with flannels underneath! All my pants are heavier then most minus a few pair of plain denims I wear in the warmer months.

I would not be riding in just Khakis... Too cold!

Merry Christmas Steve!!

We finally got some moisture here. It rained most of the day yesterday. Still just above freezing this morning but the humidity was at 150% if that's even possible hehehe. I had the foggiest idea to go for a ride.

The mountains were blanketed by clouds which seemed to crash over like waves in the ocean. Pics don't do justice for how cool this looks.

Finally looking to the west over the city the fog is receding down the Rio Grande valley. Again, much more beautiful inn person.

Now it's time to head to work. Play time is over for a while!

Jedz, stud your tires with hex head sheet metal screws and find a frozen lake to play on. WARNING: they will be dangerous on pavement.

Same pants I wear for work, excellent, long lasting and cheap. I crashed in them too at low speed but no abrasion on my hips, no tearing.

Great for food industry. They last a long time. I'm very hard on my clothes so they seem to be the only things I can find that hold up to the abuse...

Glad you were OK but it's good to know they hold up in a low speed slide. I suspected they would for the material they use is very durable.
