I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

High of 48 degF today, and windy all day.

Out for a little ride after dinner, went by beach to see if waves from all the wind.

Watched this guy for a while.

Was sand in the street in places, somewhat like in this parking lot.

This week's Picture of the Week theme is "High Places", so I went to Highlawn, a neighborhood about ten miles from me.
This is not my official entry, but I did like the picture.

After building the new bumper pads yesterday for the stalls in my horse trailer:

I decided I would get out today for the ride I wanted, and should have done, last weekend. 216 miles through Kentucky in mid-50s temperatures with the first and last 50 miles on the slab. The GPS also did its job when it warned me of and then routed me around a car accident near the I-75/I-71 interchange. The sun finally came out about 75 miles into the ride but it was just cold enough that even with the windshield and a long sleeve shirt under my textile I needed to turn on the grip warmers to the low setting. It felt really good though to hit some roads I had never been on plus a couple that I like to ride all the time. I also ran across three deer today - the first one was scared off by a car in front of me early in the ride while the second one just strolled across the road right after I had made the left turn up the hill before the picture. Fortunately, I kept it slow waiting to see if it was being followed and sure enough noticed another rustling in the trees before it bolted across.

I'm hoping for a few more weekends of this before I put the bikes up for the winter.

When I'm traveling up the highway, I alway slow down enough to say hello to the horses traveling in their trailers. The same with dogs, always say hi! 🌞

Good.
Did it go okay?

Bike felt a bit "wiggly" at first but we gelled very quickly. The T-Rux can dance when she's asked!

About halfway through the ride, I felt a bit dizzy (been fighting a vertigo-like ailment since June!) but it quickly passed. It really felt good to be back out on a bike, I've missed it!

35degF this morning, so no ride then.

Had a couple hours on house project this afternoon, then out for a ride later in afternoon.
45 degF.
Was okay with riding pants and liner back in jacket.
Although might need to get out the heavier gloves before too long.

Thinking that Jedz measures his rides in multiples of 50 miles.
I take note of how many interesting things I see or experience.
Fall color not developing much. But did find color with other fall related things.

........................................ but I spent three days exploring northern Michigan last week. ................./

Goodheart (Tunnel Off Trees?) Yah, that is northern Michigan (lower peninsula).
Pentwater, Shelby, Ludington -- ah, looking further north than Muskegon/Norton Shores eh?
Was expecting to see some of the M22 towns; Manistee, Frankfort, Empire, Leelanau.
