A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

No, just in normal mode. Not sure what aspect ratio it was set on at at the time though. I was playing around with it.

Hey, Jason, Good to hear from you. Do tell us more of your adventures.

Mostly have been riding to work lately, with some short joy rides/long way home adventures afterward. I did get out for a little bike and hike today. Hwy 160 is an absolute blast, all the way from Salem to Charlestown, IN. Tunnel Mill Road, where the preserve is located, is great too. Stopped at Nine Penny Branch Nature Preserve for a nice walk.

Tunnel Mil Rd.... Old 62?
Looking at map, there seems to be a lot of interesting roads over that way by Charlestown.

Yep, also called old 62. Some really cool history in that area too. Clark county was originally part of Clark's Grant; where the Army offered George Rogers Clark's soldiers parcels of land as part of their payment for service during the Revolutionary War. There are lots of old stone fences still around too, they were dry stacked (built with no mortar) and many have been standing well over 100 yrs. Also, and most importantly, there is a stellar Mexican restaurant in an old train car that is well worth the drive.

I know, not a GS... but I can't help that it's my favourite bike! :sorrow:

Yesterday's ride. A view of Mt. Shasta with some "Linticular" clouds above. Actually it's a 4k foot high cloud bank concealing a space ship landing :onthego:

Just a little running around town for me today to return the new Star Wars movie I rented. Company was coming over so I didn't have much time.

I saw a mural that caught my eye and just had to stop for a pic. Not anything special really, just a shameless plug for another thread...

Took the old 750 out today....16 (65) and sunny...not bad for November...

And went for a ride with buddies on friday...lunch by the ocean

Grr. It's been raining here. a lot. I got out the other day. Did a quick work thing then a couple beers with my dad then my charging system died on the way home in the dark. I made it but no lights for the last couple miles.well I have all winter to deal with that problem.

Looks like you need the 1200 scrambler Triumph just came out with for next year,J.

New xmission installed, eh.
My mileage greatly reduced below 45degF and more reduced below 40. BUt I see that doesnt slow you down by much.

I'm pushing hard for a 30K miles season, I'm at 28.5k now. 100 mile minimum a day and I'll get there by the end of the month!

So, your 1.5k in November will exceed most folks season total. Man!

Spitting Snow on my ride yesterday, drenching rain and soaking roads with over spray... Still got my 100 miles!
