A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

My wife and I rode together for the first time this year and had a great time. We saw buffalo on the Sandia reservation and rode into the foothills East of town. With looming thunderstorms all around we didn't venture that far today.

Took a few pics to share.

Got out yesterday...

freakishly warm and sunny yesterday so i braved the ice hazard between the shed and the road. aimless wanderings around the county. notice the ugly now has side covers (i finally decided to go ahead and cut them where necessary to make them fit). the ugly also has the rear turn signals from a bmw s1000rr. they make it so i can rip turns much faster.

Not really a ride actually.....Finally got the GS1000 running and took it down the street and back. A whole 3/10 of a mile! Just happy that I finally got to ride my $500 birthday present!

I promised my grandson I'd take him for a ride after work today. We did around 65 miles East of town on old 66, or hwy 333. We were going to head West but the rain was coming from that direction, so East it was. Through Tijeras and Edgewood out to Moriarty. We had such a great ride, neither of us wanted to head back home. When we turned around the nice 20 mph tailwind we had was now hitting us head on. We got wet in the rain anyway, bit still had a nice ride.

Took a couple of pics olong old 66.

It was 79 degrees in the PNW today, so the only bike that started was of course the connie. Did the ton on my favorite deserted road.... This great view is 2 miles from home.

First ride of the year here yesterday.
Was barley 40 degF. Next few days might be warmer but also predicted rainy.
Had to get the snowthrower and the big bag of rock salt out of the way, to get out the Shadow500.
Was some snow banks melting and running across the road in places, so didnt get out the GK.

Just rode into town by the channel and pier.

My first ride on the Bandit around the block (20 miles); figured out I probably overfilled the coolant but I'll know more tomorrow night

Yes fortunately. I stopped by the garage tonight and ran it until it got hot; fortunately only a little drained after that and I could finally see the level in the tank. At least I'll know better next time.

Give me a shout and I'll drop South if you are going anywhere outside of the local area.

Thanks for the offer. I'm not sure I'm going to actually get out there. I was up until 3 or so last night, so I'm not feeling any gumption today. Definitely a but fuzzy in the head.
