A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.
A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.
That's awesome Larry!!! Like the Bonneville?
I can't imagine living on an island... I would go nuts!Hi Justin, yes I did like the Bonneville after all, what's not to like about a free bike to ride while in Hawaii?
Especially a Triumph. A bit different than my 800 but still quite adequate for riding around the island. I just hope he doesn't get tired of the fact that he is land locked.

Congrats on the Tiger 800, I guess I missed that post. Kinda comparing clementines to grapefruits...
Free is always good!!! Especially when Free is a new a water-cooled Bonnie!
Enjoy! Be Well Larry hope to see ya next year!
I have no idea who you guys are talking about but; I lived there and know what it's like. A 29th floor apartment is awesome for 3-4 days, that view gets old real quick. It might be tough living on an island but the views he gets from his 29th floor apartment is awesome. Step out onto the Lanai and you look directly at Diamond head and the ocean . Climate is pretty exceptional also.

Living on an island for somebody who likes road trips riding or driving, it's an exile, like Napoleon on Elba. After a year you wanna get back on the mainland!
Did you guys check out Area 27?
Eli, is that Chestnut Ridge?
We used to visit there a couple times a year, a great park.
I think they put in the disc golf course abut 15 years ago.
AWESOME!Enjoyed a lovely ride and stopped at this overlook In St. Joeseph
Watched a few races and talked with some riders.
Son-In-Law sold his loud (obnoxious) HD (ape hangers, solo seat) in Calif, before the move back, After having a baby and neighbors also had a loud HD.
He Bought the FJR here (before getting house or car actually).
Says maybe it had to do with having the BMW RT in his garage for 5 years.
Says he is now glad to have a bike he actaully wants to ride more than 15 minutes, more than once a month.
Says is nice to have foot pegs under him, so can put weight on them for control and for adjusting his position.
Says now needs ear plugs since can hear the wind noise (instead of just exhaust noise).

Suzuki GS by Glen Brenner, on FlickrSpare battery...The GX85 uses batteries faster than my other cameras, so I now carry spare. My slacker self didn't charge my good camera battery and it died at the water tower.....
Emery park, not real far from chestnut ridge park though. Both parks are on the edges of what I guess would be called affluent suburban areas.
