A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

Now I see this.

Same ride, I suspect.

Next time someone says I am nutso for riding in winter (occassional, dry roads), I can think of you.

Yes same ride!

I just went out this AM low 20's. I'll be riding to work tomorrow for the wife needs the truck as her car is in the shop. 8" of snow expected. Going to be a doozie but the tires and lack of hp is a good combo and I'm confident in the little Suzuki will get me to work and back in the white stuff...

I was going to ask for an update tommorow, but then, I suspect, I don't need to ask.

So Jedz, will you be riding at night? That would be my biggest concern, well that and keeping warm! Ride on my brother. 👍

I get YouTube video updates from jedz...he is a character on those rides!

I love how enthusiastic he is...loves riding in cold weather.

...As for testosterone... The new Mrs. Jedz can attest I don't need anymore of that!

Just give it time - you'd be surprised what a few decades can do!

I had the same news vs motorcycle moment. When I realized my New York Times home delivery was just shy of $1k a year, I thought, "Daily paper delivery, or put 11E back on road?"

You'd need an atomic clock to measure how long that decision took.

I 'accompanied' Jedz on a sunrise ride to work one brisk morning - loved it!

No ride. There is risk and acceptable risk. by noon today we could have up to 8 inches of snow, I'm not worried about me but the idiots on the road. Wife and I carpooled this AM and I'm hitching a ride with a buddy after work. I got out this AM to snow and an inch already. So I might do a local ride in the woods but I'm not down for 50 miles round in the snow today.

Norm, Sending you a text soon, just to catch up! Been a hot minute. Yeah this AM was icy dark and snowing, hard riding conditions it was suppose to start around noon and I can make my way home if I get there on bare roads but 50 miles of snow is a bit too much. Might go for a little jaunt this afternoon though through the woods!

That was me and cable TV. No Brainer... I get all my TV watching filled from Netflix, hulu and Youtube. Don't watch too much TV. Hate watching sports and local crap... Sitcoms and stuff like that do nothing for me. Rather be wrenching or if I'm on the couch I'm likey playing Super Nintendo or N46.

Still have a couple decades till retirement (currently on track to retire at 55) I'm sure at that point my biology will be a touch different! I'll enjoy what I got for now!

Thanks Rob for watching!

Last ride of the season? Hope not, wanna be more like Jedz

Last ride of the season? Hope not, wanna be more like Jedz

Beautiful, crisp fall mountain ride. Tried out my new $22 ebay windscreen. Love the look, and it's mildly functional, about $22's worth.

Thanks Roger. Many of us play with our images a bit before posting. I was worried that maybe I tweaked this one a bit too much, but I love the vibrance of the (PA?s) purple mountains majesty, and how the blue in the sky matches my paint. Here?s the original.

No ride on bike today but did a ride to the desert via cage. Pics are hard to attach from my phone.

Either way, it's a great picture.

Sometimes I take a pic and the colors are unusually vibrant without tweaking them. I still don't understand all the setting on the camera whether it's on a phone or digital camera. Just get lucky occasionally I guess.

Here's one from a recent trip with a very colorful sky. No tweaking, phone camera.

Looks like I'll be able to get a ride in today or soon. The most dangerous place is my driveway, but I spread salt on it yesterday and it's working well.

First time in a while we ended up with Katanas only on our regular Saturday morning ride. Got a little warm but had a bunch of fun, and nothing quite like seeing six Katanas lined up on the side of the road...
