A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

All this talk motivated me to get out and get the ABS sorted on my 17" alloy conversion. Having the top case for the laptop was essential while doing reflashes via Bluetooth to dial it all in. All set ABS was working overtime for the roads were icing over. Love riding, can't wait till I can do it again everyday.

After a few days of strong winds, today turned out to be calm and 32?C. I have often been to Blouberg Beach, on the other side of Table Bay across from the city of Cape Town. However, it has always been by car to transport children, beach umbrella, towels, picnic lunch, etc. As a result I did not have any photos of my bike with this landmark in the background.

So today I went for a ride on the 850 and finally got that photo!

This is the view of the city from the lower slopes of Table Mountain, looking across Table Bay to Blouberg Beach, from where the previous photo was taken.

No pics, but took the GSX1100G out for a little spin yesterday. Felt really good but the Russell daylong seat on my FZ1 has me spoiled. The "G" seat was not very good feeling, comparatively.

havent gotten out this season yet, but it is coming.....I did do a spicy 4 wheel drift around a curve on some icy asphalt this morning though....ground is still cold, be careful out there folks....

Mild winter here, been out on my Honda the last 2 weekends. I'm working on a serious valve job with my GS1100G, that could be rolling in 3 weeks.
December pic here, but same weather, same bike.

You want to know what sucks? I'm sitting in Arizona with no bike to ride. Talk about B O R I N G.

I brought my Honda ST 1100 out here last November to have a bike to enjoy during the cold winter months.

I was here riding it 3 weeks ago and had it listed on C/L. Well it finally sold last Saturday and now I'm bored silly. I still have a couple more days to stay here with my sister then I will head back home taking the scenic route through Utah and Colorado, visiting my daughter and granddaughter.

I'll be back home early next week so I can start getting the Suzuki ready for the warmer weather.

Larry, I'm glad and sad for you, but mostly glad. Congratulations on selling that ST. I'll bet it was bitter sweet to see it go with all the miles you enjoyed on it.

Oh don't feel to sorry for him! Here is his new sweetie...🙂 just kidding Larry, I know it's hard to sell a vehicle. So many good times. 👍

I took my Harley out today, i was tidying the garage and it was in the way....so i moved it but only for an hour!

i think my BMW might be in the way tomorrow!

Waiting for parts for the GS... one day....inhsallah!

I finally got to ride, albeit on the Bandit, today when I brought it home from the garage (long way home = 20 miles). I'll have the GS running in about a week I hope.

Well I guess I have officially started the MC season on my primary bike. Rode in and will do my per usual 100 miles again today. Very excited since it's March 4th!!!! I may see some snow but we are seeing the mild winter get shrugged off by an early spring. Mud Season is in full swing and the Trees are running HARD...

My riding season will start tomorrow when I ride to the title department to get a Ohio title and registration! Sunday will be pushing 60?! Got to be careful out there with the gravel and crappy road conditions...
