A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

I rode to Oklahoma on Thursday. Today my cousins showed me around the Tulsa, Muskogee and Tahlequah area. Northeastern Oklahoma is absolutely beautiful! So much water and green everywhere. It's been foggy and just amazingly wet every morning, but not raining. Humidity was 100% this morning and it feels great! 650 mile ride ahead of me tomorrow so I'd better rest some.

Will try to upload some pics tomorrow.

Its a beautiful fall night. 66?, and with enough humidity to recall a summers evening as I type this at half past midnight. I had loosely planned to go out on the cycle. After dinner my son asked if we could go on a bike ride. That rightfully took precedence. We rode, we laughed, and we had a great time. He reminds me of me before life dimmed my shine.

While he is not interested in photography, he definitely has an eye for things. He spotted this scene which we set up.

Cool bicycling pic dude.

I went out yesterday around noon for a quick tour of the neighbourhood to get a few Autumn pictures. Didn't have to go far really. I'm against the end of summer but I guess it is kinda pretty.

Thanks. Had to tweak these shots a lot to be anything more than just blah. Overcast skies are great for the foliage colors but makes the sky so boring that most of the shots I took today are throwaways. No sweet light this afternoon as we were expecting rain so I called it a day.

:-\\\This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine!:-\\\

Bonneville is starting to show it's age, CEL comes on pretty religiously at this point, random issues each time I pull the codes.... Still running strong so, screw it... She's good to rack!
By the end of day Yesterday I ended up with a huge +1300 mile week, not bad with working +50 hours. Lots of bitter cold rain Monday through Friday but Saturday was spectacular and yesterday was very pretty but low 50's all day.

The season is wrapping up here. 34K miles so far... Been a good year despite being all local (lots and lots of local back road exploring). 25' on my ride in this AM, used the heated gear... Going to need a new rear tire.

Great shots guys! Get the riding in before the white hell shows up!

Awe, don't worry about that Check Engine Light. The check engine light was always on with my 05 Buick Lesabre. Once a friend was driving it. She said "Norm the check engine light is on" I told her "Let me know if it goes out. Because if it does we're in trouble." I loved that car, so plush. 🌞

HAHAHA That's generally the philosophy, if the light goes out then we need to worry!!!
It's comes on, goes off... I almost think it's cute at this point. I pretend it's talking to me. This AM it was 25' and it went off on the ride in, "oh your cold this morning Bonnie?" I asked. The engine is running great... I have no idea what it is, hate to use the word Gremlin but.. When i pull the codes it's almost always pertaining to low voltage in a brake sensor or wheel sensor. The Electrics are not the best on this bike... It did throw a miss fire code, which I sorted when I found the drain way for the #2 spark plug was clogged and flooded. Lots of rain...
Next machine will be a Yamaha but I think the Bonnie will have 6 figures on the odo by the time the new Yammy is folded into the heard.
Best,

No, Allot of Denso in these new Triumphs. The loom is a Triumph made part though.

A little windy, but still a pretty nice day for a ride in MB! What will likely be my last one of the season, expecting cold wet and possibly snowy weather by the end of the week! :(

Rode down to Tucson last Friday, back yesterday. Great ride down the 79.

Just ordered the 1200 kit. Looking forward to installing that.
