A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

anyone go for a ride today? Pics?

As a Canadian with little choice but to accept the weather, I always wonder why any American lives above the snow line. I hate the stuff.

Winter time just makes the Summer all the more sweeter.🌞
I was able to get out yesterday for a after work ride! Tonight is also looking great for a ride. I'm taking tomorrow off work to go riding. 👍

Absence make the heart grow fonder!

It was WARM today in Vermont! 33'F! My first commute into work was sooo nice.
I'll post a pic once the sun come up.

We had a string of unseasonably warm (60+ degree F) days here in northern Utah recently so I took out my GSXR 750 for a spin up in the mountains. Believe it or not it was about 55 degrees when this pic was taken.

You have a choice. The west coast isn't completely full... almost, but we're not being bodily pushed into the ocean by the crowds yet.

Having just returned from a trip to Arizona, Utah and Colorado, I can now show some pics of the beautiful scenery I got to ride through. Too bad I am not good with photos but this might help to prove I really was there.

And this is the reason I went to Arizona. I don't like snow after I have see more than a inch of it.

After a weekend of maintenance: new oil/filter, valve check, new throttle cable, new choke cable, finally got out for a ride this afternoon. Haven’t ridden since Christmas Day. Still lots of snow in the higher elevations, but it warmed up nicely today.

Awesome pictures Larry! That seals the deal! I'm heading west this summer! I'll try to loop around and catch Nebraska for breakfast with Larry! 👍

Okay, now we can belive you Larry.

Not neglected any more, I see.

You took that shiney clean bike down that road, on purpose?

I took that pic from that side of the bike, from that angle, to make the road look worse than it actually was. But, yeah, I don?t worry about my bike getting dirty. I do, however, try to stay out of the slush.

same road:

Longer ride today. About 4 hours. Was barley 50 when departed. Abit over 60 upon return.

Great.

Stopped along road to watch a little creek.
Had the idea that I was watching winter melt away.

Rode into Newaygo. Beef Jerky and cream cheese dip and crackers from the jerky store, made something of a picnic on a park bench.

Stopped along the river. Was some people out in small boats.

Swing by beach to look for clouds on horizon that might efect the sunset. Still ice on pier and lake.

Definatly different than a couple weeks ago.
Snow in forecast next week.

I know that road very well indeed. As for barbecue, you missed out: You should have gone to Jalapeno Buck's. Nestled right in an orange grove, amazing barbecue and Tex-Mex.

Should hit 50'F today, it was 19'F on my ride in this morning, god I miss doing this everyday!

Yesterday the FZ6 passed State inspection with flying colors. The $1500 Commuter is running superbly and is fit as a fiddle and ready to fly for the season.

More snow is moving in this weekend and we might slip back into the winter time suck. At least I'll get a few solid days of riding!

I'll take some of that riding Larry! Thanks for the share!
Rich, it does me well to see the GS out in PA!
I'm glad to see more people bringing their bikes out for the 2021 season!
Best,
