    A note to new registrants...
All new forum registrations must be activated via email before you have full access to the forum.

A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Waaaay better, great pictures, thanks. I figured rather simple to the folks that know this stuff.

Do you ever have trouble deciding which to ride?

I never owned more than 2 bikes at a time, and as different as they were, I would sometimes stare at the Sportster and the 11EZ, trying to decide. Truly an embarrassment of riches!

Lol...indeed I have....my wife ridicules me often when seeing me in my garage after announcing that I was going for a ride and stand in my garage deep in thought of which bike to ride.....she says I have "First world problems"....lol

Rob, should have been quite easy decision, do you want to just ride home normally or ride home cautiously with oil on your rear tire or possibly be hauled home...

I just never got comfy with gravel and street bikes like the GS's, KZ's, nor CB's... For me, probably may be OK with one of the newer bikes like marvinsc rides, KLR something, like an off rd. that's kind'f for st. also... Don't make sense as I've always lived out in the country. There's a GS around here with knobby tires on it, all good, just not my style.

Fine evening, this evening.

And now I have to postpone my radiator job thanks to a showing request of my house tomorrow... and Saturday. Glad it's a four-day weekend for me, I absolutely need to get the rad replaced asap.

I live 20 min from you...you can't spare an hour and a half of your time to come look at some bikes and hang out with like minded people? :smile-new:

My Monday ride report:

- Morning, ride around and into town, stop downtown at brewery/coffeeshop that has outside seating. (can kinda see bike ther across the way, and another shot)
- Afternoon ride, about 100 miles. A route that somewhat follows Muskegon River to Newaygo, and back.
- Evening ride into town and walk pier for sunset and twilight.

Some of yahs might be saying "Dave, you rode a hundred mile ride and dont you want to post more than one picture?"
And, "Newaygo, isnt that where you get beef jerky and post a picture of that?"

Well, Yes, and Yes.

Took a little trip southwest to the Land Between the Lakes area for a couple of days. Got in about 280 miles in a day and a half!

Thanks again to GSR member marvinsc for leading me around on Tuesday!

Saw some wildlife (deer and bison) and took a ferry ride! We even ventured into the great state of Tennessee for lunch.
