Brand new Ohlins SU143 shocks for GS1000's.

I guess I'm out of the loop on these shocks. No biggie. Enjoy gang. Sure wish I could have got a set. I must have not been there for the call. I can't answer calls during business hours since I'm working. I figured I'd miss out on the deal again because of that and I'm ok with it and am going to go find a rebuilder for the shocks that I've got. I just thought the Ohlins would be real cool. I'll quit crying and say enjoy gang.

Sorry guys, I've been away doing Marine stuff - off the boards and stuck in Barstow for the most part.

All of you that sent me emails are still very much on the list (unless you no longer want to be on the list) and you will get calls eventually. I have not put in the March list yet since the Feb list has not been fulfilled - so the March list will likely end up being an April list or beyond that if need be.

I have recieved a few emails recently and have not replied to them as of yet because I do not want to build you up just to let you down in case we sell out and can't get any more of them for a while. That happened with the CB shocks and it took 6 months to fill the orders we had - but we filled them. I won't leave you guys out in the cold, you'll know one way or the other if that happens. Right now it's just a matter of waiting for the ones we have to get to NC, and then off to the buyers.

Some of the shocks have already been delivered, and I know that spring is coming and the rest of you are getting anxious, I understand that, fair enough. I'll put a call in tomorrow to see where we are at on the orders and post an update when I get a response. This ain't over guys, it's just taking a little while.

GS, you should have been one of the first one's to go out - you and the other was xmach. I'll make sure to ask her specifically about you since xmach already got his.

Okay, I have an update for everyone. All of the shocks are in but Autumn has been swamped lately so she has only had time to make one call and that was to XMach (before Daytona). The rest of you will be getting calls soon. How soon? Hopefully she will make contact with all of you this week, but the list I gave her was pretty big and there are CB customers on there also. If you don't hear from her within 2 weeks, please let me know and I'll make another call. She did say that she had no excuse other than that she is swamped right now and she will make an effort to contact you all soon. I know this isn't much, but it's all I got. Hang tight, it shouldn't be much longer. Also, she said that she has a few extras so some of you on the over list will be on this one. I'll let those who do know as soon as all the committed shocks ship.

I did get the email but I do not know what the production is going to be yet so I didn't confirm it. The best I can say at this point is that you are on the "over" list and I'll let you know if we have enough to put another order in - either way, it won't happen until after all the others are delivered.

I got an e-mail yesterday to call in. I left CC info on voice mail and Autumn left message later that the Su143 should ship today(or very soon) and she will confirm with a tracking #.

Got my HO140s last night just wanted to thank you again for setting up the buy and getting us a great deal.

I went with the Honda units to gain an inch of ride height. The forks on the bottoms of the HO140 shocks are 19mm wide vs the GS shocks which are 22mm. No biggie I'll just shave 3mm off the shock bushings on the swing arm. The top eyelet is a little different also but should be easy to convert. Can't wait to see what the change in ride height does to the handling.
