Is there anyway to still get in on this deal? I need a set of shocks for my 80 GS1100e, and although 450 is more than I budgetted, I can't really pass up a set of Ohlins for that price. Please let me know

I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Thank you very much. While there was a little wait, the transaction went smooth as silk. Arrived today with UPS ground brand spanking new.
Bad ,Beautiful and Black springs. I think someone else coined the term "functional art". That is not an overstatement :-D
Planning on putting them on the GS1100ED but it will still be a while. I might get impatient and swap them temporarily to the GS750EX

I haven't had much time to get on the boards lately as work has had me running around quite a bit and the rest of my time has been devoted to family. So anyway, I did call and found out that the list was still being worked but I'm pretty sure that everyone who got a confirmation email from me has been taken care of by now.
If there are still people hanging that haven't got a call yet, let me know as you may be on the next list. As for the next list, I will be sending confirmation emails to those I have on it right now tonight. If you don't get one, resend your info as I probably don't have it. I say that because I seem to remember more people on this list but can't find the emails. My emails tend to get filtered a lot to keep the junk at bay and sometimes it filters the good stuff. An improtant note is that these shocks may be going up in price a little because we have to do another production run to make them available. Japan usually snatches up what we don't sell, but there is still an increase in cost we have to deal with. Last time it was supposed to go up too but it didn't so I'm hoping it doesn't this time either, but each time I get the same warning as with each production run price adjustmens can happen. Having said that, if it does happen it's probably not going to be a big increase - perhaps as much as $25.
So if yo want in, the next list is now open. Shoot me an email and get on it.

Okay, the next list goes out on Sunday night so this is the last call. Shoot me an email if you want on the list. I'll probably still be able to get some in the future, but this is the last call for this list. An important note is that the price did go up to $475 as I had expected it to - a mere $25 and still a good deal but if that changes plans for anyone just email me and I'll take you off the list - I understand how a lot of people are getting hit pretty hard these days so it won't be a big deal.

This order is still on its way from Sweden so you might not get a call for a month or so. I know some of the previous customers waited even longer than that. Also, please make a note that my email address has changed to verizon.net from roadrunner.com, the first part is still longej.

Are you able to organise shipping to New Zealand? If so, what additional charges would be applicable?
Can you confirm that the Ohlins SU143 are the correct shocks for the 83 (85 in NZ) GS1100G.

I can coordinate shipping to NZ, but I can't confirm the application for you. I'm sure somebody here can though so I hope they can speak up. Failing that I would say to contact Ohlins via email or phone to confirm the application first. I can start putting together a list any time really, but generally, we like to have ten before we order so that we don't have extra stuff on hand. So to answer your question, whenever we have at least ten, I'll put in an order.
