Is it only me or does the front fork "rear shock" suspension tick anyone else off too?
BMW did it in the '60s, had a tendency for tank slappers. The Earles Fork. My Uncle died when his R60/2 pitched him off on a very sedate corner.....

I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.
Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Just what I was afraid of, it looks really Rube Goldberg geek tech. No pics of the bike leaned over in a corner, just bolt upright with stiff looking boots on the through bolt foot pegs.BMW did it in the '60s, had a tendency for tank slappers. The Earles Fork. My Uncle died when his R60/2 pitched him off on a very sedate corner.....
I don't know man these guys seem to be the definition of a bad A$$ biker... Ripping it up on a custom machine.

Definitely want him on my side in a bar fight....
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I seem to reflect on one concern...while riding one of these bikes, I can't help but wonder if ones knees would be covering "J" on the tank? Just sayin....
That's pretty much how it looked to me without taking out the "J" even, but it's not nice to make fun of one's last name.Post of the day!
I imagine thats fast enough around town style of driving.I kinda like the old timer looking one, but not the cafe racer. The proportions make it look like the mopeds from the '70s.
What disappoints me most is the top speed of 70. Nowhere near fast enough for a 250.
La-di-da scooter riding? Pick up some groceries, hang out at Starbucks? HA!!!I imagine thats fast enough around town style of driving.
I agree... Understandably the 250 singles don't move like the 250 Twins however the TUX (and I'm sorry I go back to it but it does relate) will break 85mph flat out with correct tires, gearing and lying flat on the tank. However at speed... I trust the TUX with it's Nissin Brakes and very decent suspension over that. 70MPH is "fast enough" and allot of folks can and will claim that HOWEVER IMHO a bike should break 75mph for it then can go as fast as it needs to go in all road conditions (including interstate). Even my TUX is a slug for a 250. Most can break 100mph now.I kinda like the old timer looking one, but not the cafe racer. The proportions make it look like the mopeds from the '70s.

it could get crowded out on the front porch of the bar if these guys start to hang out at the same places as harley "riders".
in other words, another american bike that's mostly for looking at.
I don't trust the handlebar clamps...

Yeah, somebody's gonna convince me a Buick is a fun car…:stupid:Not suggesting you hang out with Harley people or any other group for that matter; although the Scientologists do look like a pretty fun time. But have you ridden a Harley? Got to spend a couple days on an FL a few years ago. Had a ball! Great fun.
Certainly not a great value and was crazy porky, but did pretty much what they designed it to do.
Again, not looking to get you to change religions or anything. But only good to look at? Eh.
LOLOLYeah, somebody's gonna convince me a Buick is a fun car…:stupid:
