A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Postings to the For Sale and Wanted sections will be deleted 90 days after the initial posting date if there has been no activity to the thread in the last 7 days. This is done to eliminate dead posts from the forum.

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Clean but mis-ID'd "81" 1000E skunk for $2,500, Socal. Nice price if legit.

Yep, looks like a good deal. Always wonder about folks, he knows enough to know it's a Skunk, but don't know the Skunks were in "78" only... Maybe just a brain poot while typing title.

Sorry, but I would just have to throw that fairing underneath my truck, so I could drive over it. Bike looks nice for the price though.

I sorta like finding a nice bike with an ugly fairing, it's easy to remove and discard, and may dissuade some potential buyers.

I watched the video clip of it running, the still pic in original post, but I don't see a fairing. ?!?

Other pics show it if you scroll through. Not sure who makes that fairing but it looks high quality (Krauser?) and could get a few bucks.

Could be high quality, and for sure some folks like it, but for me the Gawwwd ugliest fairing I believe I've ever seen...Rob, when you get to the picture, there's a little arrow on the side of the picture, click that arrow to go to the other pictures

Looks like a good find for someone near there. Agree on the ugly fairing. Probably would be hard to sell.

When I go to the Facebook link, all I see is the video. The only still pic I see is in the original post.

You don't like fairings, but I'll post it anyway.

Even I will agree that it's not a good-looking fairing, but I will have to say, for those who do like fairings, it protects a LOT better than a Vetter Windjammer.

I don't remember for sure, but I think that is a Shoei. Had a friend in California that had one, I had the chance to try it for a bit. I had previously tried riding behind a Windjammer, this one convinced me there were better things than 'Jammers.
