A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

For many, it appears their most prominent ability is being able to take something and turn it into ugly and nothing. LOL

So many of these dummasses can't even keep their terminology straight. A skirted rear fender is exactly opposite of a 'bobber'.

Look at the bottom rung of the chain just behind the front sprocket. A home-made chain tensioner?

I suspect Pabst was involved in this build. :very_drunk:
.

Yes!!!! His cold shiny friend got the best of him. PBR is next to me while tinkering. Thankfully it doesn't make me want to get out the reciprocating saw!!! :very_drunk:

Well, he did say it was a "bobber project".

Maybe he just hasn't gotten to the bobbing part of the project yet.

.

That's true. The good news is he could saw that rear fender off, then it would actually be a bobber, and it wouldn't get any fuglier than it is now.

I have a Suzuki intruder project bike that I started working on to make into a bobber. Due to work and kids I just don't have the time
To get into all of it the way I wanted. I have a ton of brand new parts and accessories
To go with it. Hard tail started on it, comes with the entire hard tail kit. would be a great bike when done. Running when it was all together but it clearly is all taken apart right now. 600.00 for everything FIRM , I paid 1100 for the bike and 700 in parts alone
Title in hand

Yet another "I had a running motorcycle. Now, I've fubarred it and don't have the time/money/knowledge to make it right. PLEASE pay me money to make my problem into your problem"

At that price, though - you could part that out and maybe make a few shekels. Frame is mucked up, but everything else looks clean......

Hey! We needed a sawzall for a legitimate use! Sawing the old muffler off my my old Taurus so we could put a new one on. That bugger wasn't going anywhere without it, even though it was falling to bits at the same time.

This bike evidently only runs after 6pm and a bunch of beers.
