alright everyone, heres where im at. i got a 1980 gs 750 with cv carbs that was chopped into a hardtail so the airbox wont fit anymore. this caused me to get a dynojet stage 3 kit to run pod filters and of course the last fuel screw that needed adjusting appreared to be crossthreaded and completely stuck. so now im looking for new carbs...
so basically on ebay they have some vm's for sale, is there any advantage or disadvantage to getting these? ive heard that they are much easier to tune in, would i still need the dynojet kit or can you just tune em to what you need without it? (for all i know the vm's wont even fit, i just figured the carbs for 2 750's would be the same) the bike also has straight pipes that my buddy welded on for me in his muffler shop if it makes a difference, i know bikes are real picky about that kinda stuff. thanks
