    A note to old forum members...
    I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

    Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

    Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • This forum is for placing reviews for parts, accessories, gear and service as it relates to your GS motorcycle. The key here is "GS Related". There is a bit of latitude here but we don't want to see a review on Maytag washers just because that's what you use to clean your riding jacket in.

    Keep your review as factual as possible and please refrain from personal attacks. Posted articles will be reviewed by the Editors and may be removed at their discretion.

    So let's make this a useful addition to the forum! A special pat on the back goes to Hap Call for coming up with this great idea.

  • Returning Visitors

    If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

    If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

I wasted a whole month waiting for them to ship my new sport fairing. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/...0101/Ntk-AllTextSearchGroup?Ntt=sport+fairing. After much research, this is the one I want. I order last month. It was supposed to ship....tomorrow. So I checked the status to make sure. All of a sudden, it says it's due to ship at the end of August now.

WTF?!! Oddly on the site, it says ships in 2 days. KINDA MISLEADING. So I called, they gave me the runaround and I canceled my order. They told me they get the fairing from EMGO.

I found the EMGO site, but they have no phone number listed.

Anyone know where I can get this EMGO sport style fairing from.

I got a brand new one off Ebay for less than that! It was also Emgo Branded. It was OK but the Maier one is much higher quality & looks much nicer when fitted in my opinion.

Was it the Viper. I don't like the Viper../ bullet. I like the one JC Whitney has ... as per the link above.

Any interest in selling it if it is the JC one?
 
Sounds like EMGO may be out of stock. If that's the case You will have to hope to find a seller who already has One.

I'm annoyed because like any toy, I was really counting the days for this to arrive...a whole month now......now I'm on a friggin mission to find one.
 
Nope... it was the EMGO one. Cafekid has the one I had now... not sure if he's using it or not, might be worth asking.

I have the Emgo, I think it is the "viper" I got it from an ebay seller (who still has them posted last I looked). I got it for 45 bucks shipping and all.
 
Check with Cycle Recycle II in Indy. I know they sell them, and I know I've seen them there in the past, but who knows what they have in stock.

Of course, good luck getting through on the phone -- they're more than a little swamped this summer, and have been slipping up a bit lately. Hope they get it together.

Don't even try email -- I've never known them to answer an email.
 
Try this web-site, all the way at the bottom. I bought the same fairing years back, but can't recall if this is the company. I thought I paid about $10 less, but it was a while ago, and my brain ain't what it used to be!

I'm pretty sure Viper isn't the same helmet. It looks similar, but the viper viser is more..Bubbled. I've never seen them side by side so who the hell knows.

I'm thinking about getting the maier. Anyone have a shot it what it looks like on their bike. I've seen one photo of it here on the boards, but would like to see anothe.

oh and I checked bout Cycle recycle and bike therapy....not the same helmet. Why am I so difficult.
