Exhausts compatible with 83 GS850G?

I've discovered a hole in the exhaust header on my 1983 GS850G, and it appears that this model is the only one where the center pipes are a unit with the resonator.

I suspect finding this part is going to be extraordinarily difficult, so I'll likely need to replace the whole system.

Can anyone clarify which GS exhaust systems are compatible, or at least adaptable?

For example, I think any 850G or GL system can fit or be made to fit (mounting at the back may be a little different, and on some models the resonator mounts to the oil pan). Details on swaps like this would be most welcome.

I have no idea whether 1100G/GL or 1000G/GL exhausts are compatible, or what might be required if they can be made to fit.

Many thanks!

Here's the sad scene -- the inner layer failed on #3... I think I can get rolling again with an ugly welded patch, but I need a long-term solution:

I know the 1000E & 1000G are interchangeable as I've done it but the angle is different so you may have to fiddle at the rear end (fnar fnar).
One thing that might be important given your usual chosen velocity.... you may lose some corner clearance.

I've also seen some L pipes fitted to other models. I think Nessism did that with one of his S's.

My guess is you'd be best off with a part off another G... just a guess though. I know the 750 has smaller diameter pipes than the 1000. Wonder if the 850 follows the 750 or the 1000/1100 in that respect and if it matters (i.e. are the ports at the head the same diameter regardless).

If you were feeling really flush you would probably be able to get someone to build you a replica but it would be single wall.

Good luck! :)
