Just bought 4 1981 GS1100ES that need engine rebuilds. I need experienced assistance. Anyone near PAX, Annapolis, or DC?

I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Thats the infamous GS that was listed for sale in multiple, different, and vauge CL ads across the country a few months ago.
Yeah, can you take a picture with today's newspaper and post it? We have seen that picture a million times in the last few months.

If that silver GS1100E is actually a REAL bike, there's going to be a ton of people, including myself, that are going to be kicking themselves!
Yes we will. That is an AWESOME bike, and well worth the big bucks it went for. Forgive our skepticism, but that bike, rather people claiming to represent that bike, have tried to scam thousands of people, and we are a bit jaded. If it is yours, congratulations for a great purchase.

Because it is a scam, there are no bikes and the poster isn't in FL either.

Weird that somebody would pull a fake picture of a scam ad and bring it HERE to start a rebuild thread? Makes no sense whatsoever. What was he going to gain by it?

sorry for the delay as I own a home and live in Mount Dora, FL , work in Crystal City, VA where I have an apartment, and a 2nd home in Lusby, MD. The gorgeous silver 1980 GS1100E and the 1976 KZ900B are at my home in FL and the 4 GS1100E's i want to restore are in the home in Maryland. As soon as I get home tonight I will take pics with a newspaper of the silver GS1100E and red KZ900B. You guys are a tough crowd! LOL!

Until I get the pics posted. I purchased the bike from VJMOTO Lewisville, TX on EBAY on Feb 13, 2017 for $5,601. Goto http://www.vjmoto.com/vj-moto-gallery/ as they still have a pic of the GS1100E there. I arranged shipping with Joe Whelan of VJMOTO to my house in FL. Yes I bought it sight unseen and it has turned out to be a steal at $5601. Every where I go it's the main attraction. I love it so much I bought 4 more that I want to restore. I am posting a screen shot of my ebay purchasing history.
