A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Group buy for GS seat covers

I need one for an 80 1000G as well. I think this came up before about a group buy but the logistic of one person paying and shipping was too akward to deal with. Are you willing to give us the same 10% off on a individual purchase again?

Unfortunately the discount is only for a GB.

I believe that it's Group Buy. Meaning one person purchase all the covers and ships them out. Not everyone orders separately.

Assuming each seat cover retails for $80.00 shipped, GB savings would be $12.00. Shipping to each covers final destination would probably be in the $6 - $10.00 range. So, not really worth putting that burden on someone to save a couple bucks.

I will order one directly, as their quality and service have been great!

Pit - I think that the seat you have listed for a GS650G is actually for the GS650E

You guys made one for my GS650E several months ago. By the way, thank you! The quality is incredible

I could use two covers. Anyone have experience trimming a stepped seat(80's) into old style(late 70's) flat version for a 550 or 750 gas? Can it be done to look professional? greg

Hi,Pit. I think you have a pretty bad example of your seat cover for the '81 GSX400E (http://www.bikeupholstery.com/suzuki-gsx250e-gsx400e-gsx400s-1979-1980-1981-seat-cover-sspe.html) so here's a picture of the one you made for me! I think my original was your pattern.

it should fit the 80, 81 GS450E too as they are the same, I believe.

With thanks!

ps..it is a tricky seat to fit to the foam. The only tiny complaint I might have is that the seat at the back is rounded where it should be "squarish to suit the rear "cowling"

I'm thinking of ordering one of these covers for my 77' GS550B. Can anyone give me any details or advice on putting this new cover on?
