I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Katman,

I wanted to comment on your photos. This one in particular. Nice photo of the scene, nice photo of the road, nice photo of your bike. Nice photo of the scene and the bike and the road all in one shot.

Thanks Redman. I did set it up a little post card like didn't I. Wanted to get whole picture but you can't do it in a picture. Its been a great 6 months of riding.
What I am missing is the great shots from the ocean/moountain hwy vistas. Maybe next season I will post some of those.

man BC is pretty to bad they put it on the worng side of the continent.
I only put on 3k miles this yr but I am still driving and have two full months to go.

I spent half my summer wrenching, so I didn't put too many miles on - I don't know how many I turned. I still got some nice enjoyable rides in.
Yes, and we have the pictures to prove it. :D

Thanks again for your videos.

I think I did around 9000 this season. 7000 on the 1000G not counting the 2 trailer rides, and several weeks out for electrical rebuild. 2000 on the 850GL, I think, maybe not quite.
If you really want to count the trailer rides next season, you're going to have to invest in one of these:

:D

.

by the way, these shots were taken with my iPone 3Gs, which doubles as my hands free phone and stereo while riding.

From June 19 to the 1st of October I've 4400 miles on my 650g. That's a good year for me. NW rally amd 5th Western States rally acounted for many of those miles. I'm hoping to go to the UK next year and do a bit of touring and maybe catch some mc races.

Just went to the garage and checked my maintenance log. It shows the bike had 28,580 miles on December 28 and now the odometer reads 44,453. So this year I have ridden 15,873 miles. Its always summer here. LOL

I think I rang up just under 10K this year. Kind of a down year. Last year was the same, but the year before I racked up 11000 miles on my 1100G in 3.5 months :D I think I did a total of 14K that year. Been a pretty crazy year for me, lot of down time between a crash, work, getting married, my mum passing and the like.. But still, it feels damn good to get away from it all when I can. Hope to do quite a bit more riding next year... we shall see.
BTW Rob, those are damn nice pics, but where are all the TWISTY roads?? A bike that gorgeous and adept should be seen carving it up somewhere :)

Well, so far this year I've logged just under 10000 on my bike before the speedo stopped working on the way home from Moosehead.(RALLY!) I have another 1200 miles on a borrowed bike and 4 more weeks to rack up a few more miles before surgery :( looks like an 11000 mile year for me. Big plans for next year with the hopefully finished 1000GT, woo-hoo

Only about 2000km for me this season (and most of that was commuting ). No complaints about the weather, just not as many opportunities to ride for a number of reasons. Still managed to get some nice rides in, and this is the first season (of the three that I have owned The Flame!) that I really trusted the bike to take me further afield than just the local area (and it never let me down :)).

I guess the one thing about commuting on the bike is that you get your bike fix daily, even if you're not riding for pure enjoyment.

I would burn my butt on the seat every time I sat on it if I didn't remember to put my little towel over the seat. .

Wear something besides ur speedo when u ride! :D

Seriously though, probably knocking on the door of 3,000 miles since Memorial Day...1 900 mile weekend (Labor Day), one 300 mile trip, one 375 mile weekend (Peak to Peak and back), LOTS of to and from work trips ~270 miles/week.

Still feels like summer (but cold is a coming!).

I ride year round when there isn't ice on the roads...

Not far enough....Only about 1000 miles. All work and no play made for a poor riding season

Up till today I have a total of 225 miles thanks to three long trips from my house to town. Hoping for more next year.

On the 450 since about june, I've got about 9000 miles on from 51xxx to 60xxx.

I am up to around 15K (Kilometers).
In spring I toured Pennsylvania, Adirondacks and back to Niagara area.(2.5K)
In early summer Penn, Vermont, New Hampshire and NY back to Niagara.(3.2K)
This past September I travelled to the Smokies, Deals Gap and headed home on the Blue Ridge (South to North for a change).(4K+)
Plus I am still using for work, most days. (5K and counting)
Soon be time to put her away.
Take care

I worked 13 hours a day 7 days a week this summer except for 2 weeks in June and 3 weeks in September.

I probably rode only 1500 to 2000 miles on those R&R's.

I paid off my house though...

Somewhat of a short season up here in MN but as sson as the snow was off the roads basically I was on my way...and still not done..supposed to be mid 60"s this week-end..

Sept 09 34,434 miles
Oct 2010 41,260 miles

Total so far> 6,826 miles:)
