A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

That seems too good to be true.........is it a used or demo bike?

Looks like Honda added another version for 2014. They call it the Deluxe and it comes in at just under 12k......which makes the one above an even better deal.

I bet it's real, I posted another cheap one just a few weeks ago. Apparently, people buy them, get bored with them, and move on. :D

This one is new I think. It is at a dealership in Southern Illinois.

They are not selling in Anchorage, according to the dealer. They have optional ABS, but that is like a grand, I think.

Great deal. Totally understressed engine that should be good for 150,000 miles with just routine maintenance.

holy crap they want 13 grand for a new one here
go buy it its a decent looking retro bike
and it will outlive you

yeah they stopped selling then in Canada this year.
ones listed on the website are 2014
makes sense the market here si small enough let alone the far smaller niche these were supposed to find.

A bike everyone pines for nostalgically that no one relly wants.

I don't cause it's a honda......

Part of the nostalgia was that it was a big, bad boy in it's original form. It's current incantation could never be that.

Its current version is far better than the original
ANd who does not like old bikes on the basis if brand?
Fanboys are for iphones

Really? Have you ridden an 83 CB1100F? Awesome bikes, I don't see ANYTHING on this new version that is FAR BETTER than the original, charging system maybe? The original is a cult classic, for very good reasons. If they had just given this new one about 50 more ponies, they probably would have sold them out! I just came back from a dealership in North Carolina, and they can't GIVE THEM AWAY! Don't even bother uncrating them anymore!

I'd drive to N Carolina, if they were giving them away......

I would hitchhike and im a lot farther away than you are in indiana

Agreed, underpowered and also just priced too high.

Too bad too, because if a Honda model does well other mfg.s often follow. And the opposite may also be true. As this model seems to be selling slowly it may deter others from attempting a similar model.
