A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Always worth checking around every so often.

I'm currently with Dairyland, FWIW.

Mine went up to $82 a year with progressive when I asked to increase the theft coverage to $2500. Before that it was 75 as well with progressive. I figure at this point I cant buy another one for less than $2500 in the condition mine is in now.

Hmm, looks like mine is $150/yr with State Farm, but I notice they list my 22 year old son as a second driver. That is never going to happen. I think I'll call and have them take him off.

Sounds dirts cheap for a 22 yr old driver. I'll have to check with them if my son ever gets interested.

Can anyone answer my question? Cheers, :)

Oops. sorry neighbor. For my $150 I have $100k bodily injury / $50k property damage liability, $50k personal injury, $100 deductible collision and comprehensive.

Wow, I could save $100 by dropping the collision and comprehensive. The insurance company would probably total it if it took more than a few hundred dollars in damage.

Think mine is just under $75 / yr with AMFam. 36 yrs old and similar coverage as Hinermad, minus the comprehensive bit. Perfect driving record to date though, if that sort of thing matters.

Thanks. doesn't seem like $100,000 would go very far in your hospitals does it?

In my experience, thats about 5 days in the ICU or two surgeries. My health insurance picks up the rest of the tab. Would have to think twice about those #'s of the other insurance weren't picking it up.

I have 2 million liability on all my vehicles.

That's per person, to a maximum of $300k per accident. But you're right, it doesn't go far these days.

But let's face it, a bike vs. car crash does way more damage to the people on the bike than it does the people in the car.
