I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Those pics wow, that is some serious bling cannot wait to see this puppy in action.

Looking good Bill.

Question: how about O-ringing that cylinder to increase seal durability? The cylinder on my recently sold big bore kit was O-ringed and it seemed to seal well. Hate to see another engine of yours go up in smoke.:-#

If I didn't have stock sleeves or had high compression pistons I'd o-ring.
Shoot I'm using copper gaskets. It will leak a little. Oil that is.

Got the top cases painted today and got an oil pan cleaned and ready to paint. The pan looked like it had been the mud for ten years.

Looking awesome Chef!
What is your projected "on the road" date?
I could do it in a day but am taking my time. I'm also on Kris's schedule. He works afternoons/evening so I've been heading up in the morning before he has to go to work. He lives forty miles away so a good morning ride is always nice. Plus it's in the mountains so double the nice.
Two to three weeks I'd say.

Oh I know all about that taking time thing.

I'm sure you'll keep us posted.

damn,
i thought only billy vose and tommy steadman painted there chassis that shade of blue:eek:
also,
that looks like elvis standing behind the turbo bike:p
ahhh,
i can smell the desert air once again:D

Hmmm I didnt think Wiseco made pistons in the right bore and pin size for your 1230:confused:
They are wiseco arent they?
Ahhh just remembered you are using an 1150 crank with bigger wristpins, DOH!!

Are you using the same 0.340 cams? What are you going to degree them at. I thought i read you were gonna go 105/107.
Thats what I have mine at now and whoever said pods and 4-1 dont make torque is dead wrong, mine has TONS of bottom end and mid. My .340 web cams should be arriving this week and i am debating where to degree mine at. Any input from the experts? Sorry if its a bit of a highjack, Bill:o

I use copper gaskets & if they are put together correct, they don't leak! The head on my dragbike motor has been on since 2004 & still no leaks! Looking good Bill but I have a question for you. If you were paying to have the upper case half bored, why didn't you have it bored to clear 1327 or 1400 sleeves? It would've cost the same but if you decide to go bigger later you will have to pay to have it done again. I ask just because I'm curious. It would have no detrimental effects on the motor if the upper case were bored bigger than needed. When I have any bored, I have them done to 1428 sleeve diameter unless I am going 1500 or bigger. Keep up the good work & remain PATIENT!!! :D Ray.

I plan on doing this to the ED motor. This is my street motor and I don't plan on doing anymore to it.
Yeah right

Chef,

It's lookin good. I've been eyeing a blue 1100 in town. I may have caught the sickness.

After you blow this one up...you can put in bigger sleeves :p

Bah... looks like crap & I bet it will be really really slow*

Bill doesn't use the throttle anyway*

:D

Kris, you can sleeve a stock 1150 block to 1260 or 1327 both. Same sleeve for both, just over bore for the 1327. APE P/N for the sleeve is KA773. Ray.

Yeah, it's pretty much either a drag race only or street race short run deal. I did do a 1327 1150 block for a guy in Hawaii that rode on the street but it would run warm in traffic! Ray.
