A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Those pipes are really cool. When I rode my bike to San Filepe Mexiso and entered it into a race to Ensenada over the highway, one of the guys from European Cycles entered an RGV. I don't remember how well it did. That was 1987 or 1988. I'll have to look at the tee shirt to verify it, ha ha. It was the year that the Ducati F-1 Laguna Seca came out.

Nice freaking shop, by the way.

Good God man, do you work? bet that thing would be a blast to ride.

I dont know what those designations mean, but im pretty sure its code for big time fun.

Busa, when are you starting the GT build?

My VJ23 looks like this at the moment, after soda blasting off 20 years of abuse in a Japanese climate.

Which means the GT750 is still waiting for attention....I've got a fair amount invested in the VJ23, so it had to go under surgery first.
The GT will be next after the pink screamer is smoking good....I have a feeling my GT will end up as my favorite rider, if I can do it like I see it in my head.

VJ22N can come in several flavors...Euro/Australia version is about 62 advertised HP, the home market Japanese version is 45. But the VJ22 is very easily unrestricted if a home market version.
With straight plug heads, pipes, carb work, and different powervalves....70hp real world rear wheel horsepower, will open your eyes on a 250lbs bike.

Heres my other 72 GT.
This was at the Motoblot show in Chicago a few years ago...

The Cafe GT750 project.....well.....it has a way to go yet. :(

May I ask if the front end on the VJ22N is stock? I love the look of the bike as a whole.

Both VJ22's have their original front forks....the FL has a RF600 3.5 wheel and GSXR Nissin calipers, and the N has Hayabusa calipers...both have factory SP rotors

The Suzuki VJ23 is now basically finished, except for the tuning when I have time to put in the Zeel ignition

Thanks guys.... Yea turn signals will help me stay alive on the street for a while as I get it broke in, And then get the new programmable ignition set up for the power valve opening, air valve to carb opening, ignition curve, and then the same for 100 octane +..... Then It might see a track day if I can get a HP curve to my liking.
I should find some chewed up worn out bodywork for the track day too, as this bike makes me feel I take near ANY curve at any speed I want....I know it will bite me at some point.

You do some really good work man

Thanks :encouragement: Your FZR has a good start now that your down to a bare frame.
Its amazing what some cleaning, and a bit of paint here and there can do to make a bike look great again.
Those FZRs were some really sweet bikes in their day, and are still just as fast if gone through good as your doing.

Finally sold the bachelor pad, and moved into a real house.....so the bikes had to have a new place too.
Slowly getting the strokers and parts and everything else settled in.

Well it could certainly be a fun move... A bike at a time.. Not to mention the Hemi powered Plymouth.
