A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

  • In order to help others find info on a particular bike, be sure to put the year, make or model of bike that you are asking a question about, in the Topic Title. This will allow people to pass by posts they have no interest in.

Name these Bikes

How do you guys make a 2 car garage look like a concert hall? I suspect Trevor knows the secret. Probably starts with "no cars inside."

What is "Goldwing and Lunchbox"? :emmersed:

Lol....well there used to be a rule in my house....my wife would say "I don't care how many bikes you own as long as my car fits in the garage too". Well my wife sold her Civic Turbo last year and since her parents are in Europe they want her to drive their cars while they are away...an old Subaru Forrester ....it doesn't need to be in the garage ...so I've been taking advantage of that....the safety meetings are growing so I need the space. :)

Some of you 'northerners' get annoyed when we stereotype you, but look at the TV in that pic.

I count 10 chairs, 8 motorcycles, 2 tables, 1 bar, a screwdriver, one socket wrench, a can of WD-40, and 3 pics on the wall. I'm sure there's a fridge hiding somewhere, and probably a pair of needlenose pliers. Outside is a Phillips head screwdriver, waiting until there's enough room to squeeze in.

Did I miss anything? :-k

Looks like some vintage audio equipment there too. I've still got my '83 era AR98LSi and ADS L570 speakers, but much of my stuff faded away, wish I still had my Carver equipment. Recently got a decent Sony receiver and CD player, plus Bose 201 and Technics SLD-212 turntable that only needed a stylus for free. Friend still rocks a nice Sansui amp. Love that old stuff.

There is indeed a fridge....

And it's always well stocked :)

Tools on the wall and four tool boxes :)

You need to get a small HTPC and rip that stuff to a large storage drive.
CDs are dead get the news.
I sincerely hope that they don't make a resurgence via the same sorry lie that drives vinyl record sales.
8 tb drive and you can have all the high fidelity sound you may or may not want to pretend you can distinguish from analog recording or the real thing.

Thanks…I rarely listen to CDs
I do iTunes through my iPad.
what is a HTPC? I’m not a audio guy as I’m sure you can see lol but I do love music and am always looking for ways to improve my sound
thanks for any advice you can give me

Home theater pc tiny boxes sans fan.
yeah iTunes is great but money spent on Apple is money not available for liquor and whores.
iTunes circle thing can't recall its name is superb for giving easy access to music you'll love but have never heard.
big data and precise genre tagging likely the key.

The place / stuff my Bro is getting has no less than 5 stereo systems. In one pic it looks like a pair of JBL L100 speakers. I have a pair of those valued around $1K.

Trev, you taking a break from "The Band" ? Try John Prine.......
