I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.
Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

Returning Visitors
If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.
If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

let’s start with bike year and model. It’s preferable to have that info in a signature. At least include/ edit your first post to have that info.
The hose connected to the fuel level sending unit (the circular fixture at the top of your pic on the inside of the gas tank) is a drain. It’s sole purpose is to drain fuel over the carbs to the rear of the engine case, down to the ground (away from the hot engine). It connects to nothing. The hope is that it never sees a drop of fuel, it is there just in case the fuel level sending unit gasket leaks.
That petcock doesn’t look OEM to me (don’t know what bike this is). Smaller nipple on the petcock should have a line going to a nipple on one of the carb bodies (front of # 2if CV carbs, back of # 3 if VM carbs.)
The larger nipple in the petcock should have a hose going to the fuel inlet between carbs 2 & 3.
Depending on year/ model, there are more vent and / or drain lines on the carbs that need to be properly connected and routed.
Many service manuals are found on BikeCliffs Website. And the top 10 Newbie Mistakes thread is a good place for you to start. Both are linked in my signature.

That picture's got me really confused... nothing looks correct at all. I never remember seeing the plate for the vacuum nipple on the bottom, aren't they always on the back & that fuel nipple is on top... Nothing about that, by what I see in the picture is right. You got any other pictures??

Bike is a 1980 Suzuki GS750. I actually have a 1985 Suzuki Madura 1200cc and remember some similarities of the fuel tank lines when restoring it. Thanks for the info , I think I have it figured out and will hopefully get the bike to run.
