A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Pic of the week game

Sandy and Trevor can tell you that I am a bit of a strange duck, so sometimes my taste goes to the eclectic. In that stead my vote this week goes to Burque73.

Saturday, Well, 1am Pacific time, 4 am Eastern here.
Woke up and cant get back to sleep, so I will do the tally (count votes instead of sheep, har har)

Keerfunk 2, Me Redman 5, Rich 2, Dorkburger 3, Burque 2

Thanks guys.

Yes, that is a memorable picture for me, but I didn't think it was that good of a photograph, as far as photos go.
Kerry's is much more interesting, Rich's much more adventurous, Glen's much more artistic, and Roger's more unique, Jedz's tells more of a story, Sandy's much more of a pretty scene, Trevor's much more interesting relative to GSes, Bob's much more interesting with the compare-contrast grouping, Steve's more significant of a big trip-adventure.
I did have a few shots to choose from of different occasions of three bikes over the year (between my 650G, 850G, Shadow500, 1100GK, sons SV650, Tiger1050 at various times). Some of those pics had just the bikes, some had three people, or 4 people or 5 people. But I choose that shot cuz seemed the best lighting, less distracting background, bikes more evenly spaced-positioned, and was 3 couples.

Okay, am yawning now. (maybe you too after all that yacking).

I dont have any picture nor any subject-theme-category in mind at present. Have some things going on this morning, but will see what I can think up by early-mid afternoon. Will try to think of some theme or category. Thanks again.

Oh, and Steve had the disadvantage of having to limit it to 3 bikes.
He could have pics of 4 bikes and immediate family members, and other pics of maybe 6 bikes and 8 or so relatives.

(Cant sleep yet.)

Theme : Colorful Background.

Someplace or situation where you saw a colorful situation-scene-thing, and framed the picture to have that in the background, or AS the background (and I dont mean use photoediting software to put something in the background, nor put bike in front of something) (but, I suppose if you are good enough that we can't tell, or maybe other voters don't care).

My example-submission is fall foliage color of one big maple tree, but your colorful background doesn't have to be fall foliage color. My example-submission is pretty much all the same orange-red color, but yours can be other color or multi colors. Or you interpret "colorful" how ever you want.

In my pic the tree is on a bit of a hill, the bike is on the edge of the road, I went further down hill, got low, zoomed in to fill frame with the colorful background. Was a slightly overcast day, not a typical for here fall heavy overcast or cloudy, so still a lot of light, but not have to deal with shadows like would on a sunny day. I knew was a good day for photos, then found that tree in a park. Have gone back to that park for other fall color shots in years since.

Cheers to this great sentence Redman. Your win is the most decisive I recall.

Wasn't sure whether to put the colors in the sky or on the ground. :-k
I have a few sunset pics of the Wing in Flori-duh. Decided to keep it local, and with the GS. :encouragement:

I remember getting a little wet on this ride, but the shot I found at the end of the day made it totally worth it.

I'm going wide and portrait on a lovely fall day. This was the day I rode the Dragon, so it's probably in the Nantahala National Forest somewhere there in eastern TN.

NOT an entry. This old pic came up in my Facebook Memories this morning. This is Me and the Wife not long after we married in 1980. You can see the rear end of my old 76 T500 Suzuki on the Left and the rear end of my 73 Ford Ranger on the Right. The only one I still have is the Wife.:)
